I recently purchased one of these seats to replace an old discoloured seat. The instructions were easy to follow, installation went without a hitch and it looked good.However, with regards to its use, this seat is extremely uncomfortable/painful rendering it inoperative.. I have never before come across a toilet seat that was too uncomfortable to sit on.I would not recommend anyone buy this product, especially given the 'non return' regulation once the plastic bag has been removed.

Fitted the pins of my old seat so can't comment on installation.The seat and the lid close with a final bang not too loud during the day but at night in a en suite it may be loud enough to disturb a light sleeper.Our previous seat, brand unknown, closed quitely all the way.

Pros:- Decent quality for the price- Installation was a breeze with top or bottom fixing options- Plenty of room for adjustment to suit various mounting holes- Release mechanism for cleaning/maintenance- Soft close works wellCons:- Colour is more of an "off white" rather than pure white- The button to release the seat is situated right in the "splash zone" of standing urinators and may deteriorate over time if not cleaned regularly. A better design would be to move it to the side of the hinges instead

This fitted our Ideal Standard suite perfectly. The seat itself is more comfortable than the original and it smells a lot less because it's slightly easier to clean. Not sure how long the soft close mechanism will last before those horrid clicking and thunking sounds start, hoping never.
Toilet seat is short , top doesn't cover top of toilet. Has cracked near hinge on lid. just over one year old. Only one person uses it. Hard to fit.
Well, I don’t know why Bunnings would think that toilet seats and their reviews would be fresh on my mind, but I have to say now that I’ve been prompted, that this Mondella Signature Ultra Slim seat does the job. From sitting and thinking to the relationship harmony that comes with a soft close seat that quietly adopts the down position after you’ve completed your manly stand up business, this seat has it all. If it will fit your porcelain throne, then I highly recommend it.

This toilet seat is not what I would call "Soft Close" as indeed, it closes with a 'BANG'!Coupled with the fact that it is a size smaller than the one I was replacing, have to say not at all impressed.I was warned in store that I could not return this item once I had broken the plastic seal but there was no way of knowing this design fault until it had been installed.Although considerably cheaper than my original seat I would not have purchased this if I had been made aware of these two problems.BUYER BEWARE!
Had this toilet installed as part of a new ensuite 5years ago. Within 1 year the plastic suction plugs came off the toilet and the seat has been moving around a lot in the past year. Not happy.
I bought this just yesterday to replace the old yellowing one, it was 13yrs old and manufacturer went out of business so i could no longer find the same brand replacement. I downloaded the "how to measure toilet seat" document from Bunnings website and once measured up I went to Bunnings Fountain Gate and had a few choices on offer. Chose this seat because it looks sleek, modern and elegant and its soft closing. I love the fact that the entire seat can be removed for thorough cleaning. It fitted my D-shaped toilet perfectly. It was so easy to install, dare i say it "even a girl can do it", yes, I am a "girl" and can tell you it was very easy to follow instructions and fit on my own (husband was very proud! lols). I highly recommend this product.
