I've ordered the lychee flavor before, but it tastes different to me this time...sweeter (which I don't think it needs), and it doesn't have a recognizable lychee taste to me. Maybe a bad batch? I've liked it in the past.
Amazing taste and can be used in many recipes. Great in ice/bubble tea. Nice and refreshing without being over sweet. Was safely packed with care to make sure the bottle wasn't broken.
I have had an excellent lychee martini in 2 cities; Waco, Texas (of all places) and Santa Fe, NM. I had been wanting to replicate that concoction for some time. So now I have and it is exceptional -- couldn't do it without your wonderful syrup.

How can I describe this flavor....A close relative to the rambutan and longan, the lychee is the ultimate summer fruit you never knew you needed. ... In the lychee, the balance of sweet and tart is perfected. Its light, floral taste — some say it's a grape/rose, others insist pear/watermelon — pairs perfectly with coconut, lime, and other tropical tastes. I love this flavor in Iced Teas, a shot in my ice cold vodka. I pour this on my shave ice. This flavor is heavenly. Lychees also pair well with cashews, sesame, honey, oranges, elderflower, cream and soft mild cheeses, tapioca, grapefruit and blueberries. Try make an Italian Soda with this...my oh my.
I can't believe there isn't a single review for this flavor yet! Maybe it's because I'm Asian but I couldn't wait to try out this flavor. I've had it with cold brewed green, genmai, barley & Lipton tea and it's absolutely GREAT! It's been in both of my orders from Monin so far and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a regular in my orders unless they make the huge mistake of discontinuing it!
I got this syrup after enjoying drinks containing it on my cruise. It's very flavorful, and not overly sweet. Tastes very good, can tell it's good quality and not just sugar.
