FreeSync, 4K, 1000R curve, 1,192 local dimming zones, HDR 2000... Awesome gaming screen. Only drawback: full retail.

This is by far the best monitor out there for the price. I purchased 5 monitors in the past month, all had dead pixels and one of them had a flickering issue whenever local dimming was on.Buying my 6th one today, I hope to god it's as advertised with no dead pixels.

Great monitor but.. that's when it works. More than half the time it will turn itself off before the pc as a chance to boot forcing it to not boot properly, on top of that there is no way to turn auto switch-off off. It literally gives your PC 3 seconds to boot or it will turn itself off. What a joke at this price point.

The monitor performs really well, but I still prefer the G8 colours and response time, and the anti reflection matte film on the g8 is much better. This monitor also suffers from mild scanlines, on certain colour, is as bad as the G8.Other than that, the monitor performance is great in every aspect, one issue I found is that when booting up, the monitor would sometimes not be recognized by the pc and it would turn off after 3 seconds; no idea why this happens.
Great monitor with Great colours and menu options however it comes at an insanely low brightness and people have complained about hdr ( I’ve had no issues ) but for those people or those who don’t care about hdr I’d make sure to set local dimming to high and brightness to 100% to get the best picture. It’s also a nightmare to install an update, I was also told by a sales support lady that the usb hub only supports mice and keyboards and won’t work for usb’ s which is wrong?
It was listed as HDMI 2.1 but in the monitor setting it can only detect HDMI 2.0, when I am using my HDMI 2.1 cable I can't find 165hz option only 120hz is supported, however DP cable does not have 12 bit support, which means you can only make choose between either 165hz or 12 bit.Other than that, this monitor is a good HDR monitor under price 1300 euros, 1196 dimming zones and peak 1200 nits HDR make it quite immersive for me, curve is a bit aggresive but I can easily adapt to it, color is vivid and much better than its last generation odyssey g7, besides for the problem I meantion above there aren't many deal-breakers for neo g7.
This monitor coming from a 1080p 60hz display is phenomenal. 4K at this size is stunningly beautiful. HDR is amazing on this. Some complain about black levels being too high but they really aren't and if you calibrate your display it's truly insane. Black levels are great, peak brightness is I think 1100 on a 1percent window which some way is low but unless you want eye damage it's bright enough for solid hdr experience. The curve was something I was sceptical of but I personally can't notice it sitting 30 odd inches away so that's a win. My model has no scanlines or any flickering so I may of got lucky there. If you get one that's like mine then it truly is amazing. Bit pricey tho. Also no burn in so that's great
Worst screens I've ever bought don't waste your money and go to another manufacturer, so much money wasted on these dreadful monitors
Had this monitor a few months now, no issues got it mainly for my PS5 but also use it as a duel monitor setup for PC.Very good, would recommend if your not in to OLED and the potential burn-in issues they can bring.
first of all this come with latest update out of the box and 165 is good for 4k it has a black back that's nice and the screen is ok until you turn hdr on and wow this looks amazing did not think games could look so good . was looking at g8 but all the bad press on it with scan lines pushed me to this and wow the screen is amazing and i have had no problems at all my only one big thing is the stand is so bad for over 1000 pounds i would have liked a high end stand not a cheap wobble thing so had to pay 50 off amazon to get a stand now all is good would be nice if they offer it with out stand with discount . it works ok with g -sync do get some flickers in loading screens that it and its a handful of games
