Monster Energy Ultra Fiesta Mango, 24 x 500ml

I tried the monster energy drink the light blue because it looked very appetizing from the container. I love the color of the blue but I wasn't actually sure of the flavor because it didn't say. So when I open the beverage I couldn't pinpoint a particular flavor other than the carbonation and a strong taste of aspartame. I have tasted an aspartame taste in other monster energy drinks but I'm not sure if it was more overwhelming because it was zero sugar or not but I didn't like the drink very much taste wise. The energy drink however does give you energy but I do find that there's a crash quickly after and I also read the ingredients and they are not good for you especially the taurine. On chips and hotdogs, an essential on a sarnie and for my 9 year old daughter even on a roast dinner (although that is a little much for me) We've tried many different brands in an attempt to save some pennies on our much loved favourite condiment but none can compare. Heinz Ketchup is just the perfect blend of sweet and sour, appetizing in colour and just the right thickness for dipping chips or nuggets etc. It is by far the best out of all that we've tried. So, my ma bought me some drinks to be nice last night. I usually get the coffee 300s for morning! The store she went to, didn't have them. So she grabbed 4 completely random Monsters, hoping I would like atleast one of them! When I saw this one, I was bummed, since it's zero sugar, I figured i wouldn't like it since some other monster zero sugars didn't taste very good. After looking at the can, I couldn't figure out what the flavor was supposed to be, I had no clue! After googling for a few minutes, with no luck, besides "Mystery Flavor".. then I finally found one that described it as, "kind of like guava, grapefruit and or strawberry" so, that at least narrowed it down a bit. It has 160 mg of caffeine (not 300 like My coffee drinks but, in a pinch it'll work!) Overall, I would recommend this if you like Monster Energy Drinks Light refreshing flavors similar to strawberry etc. then definitely give this one a try!

I love this energy drink. Unlike some of the Monster range, it does not contain Coconut which is great (I have a nut allergy). It is really great tasting, not too sweet and quite light. There is also a Ultra version which is in the photo (I will update photos to include same product as title). This is the same drink, however it is resealable. This is really useful for going out, driving, studying/working as you can close it and save it. It gives you a real energy boost, clears your mind and re-energises your mind and body. It really helps you with your energy levels and mind clarity. This energy boost also lasts for a decent amount of time which is great for me. Would really recommend this drink. This is the only one I would say 5/5.

Absolutely vile

I've never tried Monster before. I'm very sensitive to artificial sweeteners, the taste is gross to me. I mainly drink mineral water, but i like a can of pop with my dinner. Bored silly with Diet Pepsi, so i'm always trying to find zero sugar drinks i can actually drink without feeling sick. I don't buy them for the supposed energy aspect, but most soft drinks are too weak to mask the hoirrible taste of the sweeteners. The Asda Blue Charge cans are pretty good. Nice strong but not too sweet taste, don't really notice the sweeteners much. I rather naively bought 4 of these and 4 of the regular Monster Zero Sugar cans. Completely stunned at how poor they taste. The regular ones are just about drinkable, but incredibly weak tasting, these are even worse. Like watered ... MoreI've never tried Monster before. I still notice some looser stool about 30min after drinking, thats pretty standard for stimulants. If you don't have a tolerance at all to caffiene you'd probably want to start at 1/4 the can, wait 20 min and see how you feel adding more incrementally as needed. If you've got a tolerance, start with 1 can and repeat steps as needed.

Overall, I love this flavour of Monster Ultra and would usually highly recommend it, however, this resealable format is not great. It is not fit for purpose in that sealing and resealing the can causes it to go flat very quickly. Additionally, it can be fiddly and hard to open, with the seal sometimes not fully opening at all.
