Rich descriptions of each monster help trigger your imagination. From the familiar (“vampires hate sunlight”) to the arcane (“what color is the vapor from a gorgon’s nose?”), the Monster Manual helps inspire your decisions and keep the game flowing smoothly. In Dungeons & Dragons, you and your friends coauthor your own legend. Guided by a Dungeon Master, you create characters and play their roles in a story, rolling dice and navigating maps as you unfold a tale as limitless as your imagination. Dungeons & Dragons is the world’s greatest roleplaying game. Created in 1974, D&D transformed gaming culture by blending traditional fantasy with miniatures and wargaming.

Every time I have ordered from you guys, it has always been quick, efficient and without hassle. The collection you have is fantastic and so far it seems any time I'm looking for something in particular you seem to have it. I've been back 3 times so far so you know I'll be back again 😁.

A good collection of monsters and other creatures for your campaign. Also has good descriptions of the origins and behaviors of many of the monsters in it. For example, it has detailed descriptions on the behaviors and background on the different colors of dragons, both metallic and chromatic. It also has monster stats for the different ages of the dragon's life cycle. It covers good and evil creatures, so even if you run an "evil" campaign, you can still use this book for angelic bosses (and other good creatures) your group might face as they do evil deeds.

It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

If You are new to d&d and can get by with homebrew monsters that's fine ! But this monster manual is excellent for people who are diving a little deeper into their dungeons and dragons experience. This offers a lot of Monsters and it gives you all the stats you need. The book is brilliantly made , it looks fantastic, full color pages good looking art you name it . This Will definitely help you on your way as a dm ! Unfortunately the price is a little high here .you can find it on Amazon for around maybe 25 to 30 for a used one. But if you want it new this is not a bad price fair
It has nothing to do with the product itself. I just don't like this edition of Dungeons and Dragons. But it did come in a timely manner, within budget, and in great condition.
WotC have surpassed themselves with this guide. Almost all the classic monsters are included with some new ones as well. The art is excellent with a picture for almost every creature. 5e has a certain charm that fuses the modern game with old-school enthusiasm (but if you've read this far you probably already know that). If you're a DM, buy this book. If you're not a DM buy this book and the DM guide too! Start your own game and invite your original DM. He/she will appreciate it!
You will find the Oathbreaker sub-class or alternate version of an anti-paladin. This is the same class that the actor Joe Manganiello plays in the D&D Tomb of Annihilation stream lining blogs. As like any other previous editions of the DMG, you will get to review the descriptions of magical items and their uses. However, you will not find any armor or weapons above "+3." The classifications have changed though. For example, coming across a defender weapon or a rod of resurrection are considered legendary, requiring attunement. Also find an index of Monsters of Challenge Rating from 0 to 30th. This is indeed a very interesting book for both DMs and players alike or for individuals who just want to catch up and read what 5e rules are all about and how it defers from ... Somewhat well organized for the starting DM, particularly the parts on campaign & adventure creation. Probably not as good at giving practical guidance. Still, every new DM will probably be better off for having a copy of this. Experienced DMs will NOT need this. That said, it covers enough ground that even experienced DMs will find a few items that can shore up their practices. And the suggestions for the outer planes are amusing. Long time gamers will also be amused by the return of the (much improved) random dungeon elements tables. And, naturally, it's intriguing to see how the instruction to new DMs has evolved over the years. Alas, there is not the demand that one educate oneself, as there was with the original Gygax tome. Probably too much space (again) is devoted to magic items. The artwork in that section, though, gives an imagination-stirring image of many of the items, often lifting them from the dullness of their mechanics.
Well, you probably aren't reading this unless you already have the 5th Edition D&D Player's Handbook, or the starter set, so let's cut to the chase. What you have here is 350 pages of not only the classic monsters such as goblins and orcs, but also A to Z organized ideas for angels, beholders, chimeras, dragons, giants, lycanthropes, mind flayers, owlbears, sphinxes, troglodytes, yugoloths, and more. You also get more animals (giant octopus, giant scorpion, etc) and NPCs (knights, nobles, thugs, mages, etc). Oh, and the art is top notch (see the gnoll pictured on page 163). With this and the Player's Handbook there's really years worth of entertainment to be had, if you have the know how to use them. Highly recommended.
This book has greatly improved my D&D games. With this book, I can easily choose a wide variety of different monsters and creatures to put into my adventures based on the environment, time, player level, even plane of existence! As DM, I can now immerse my players in amazing new storylines, with amazing new enemies, or even companions. If I could do it again, I would always buy this book without a doubt.
