This is an excellent mid-weight fleece. The grid insulation is very warm and light and the jacket is very wind proof. It packs up very small and easily fits under a hard shell. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and I will probably be looking at getting another in the not too distant future as a backup.

Comfortable fit and nice feeling material. Good value.Pity Montane have removed the Blue and Orange colour from the logo. It made the product more distinctive.

My husband has two and finds them very comfortable and easy to wear. They look smart too.
The Montane Protium XT is a slightly chunkier version of the normal Protium fleece, yet still lightweight and makes a perfect midlayer on those colder days.
Usual top quality from mountain. Great fit and extremely warm
