We bought this a couple of days ago and found the instructions relatively easy to understand. The one thing we found was the drawings and alphabet on the the instruction sheet where so tiny we needed a magnify glass to distinguish between the e and c. Other than that it wa straight forward to put together and didn’t take too long. The one thing I would suggest is a little bracing across the back to make it easier to more after completion.

I bought two of these cupboards to use as additional storage. Unfortunately they are very flimsy and difficult to put together. I consider myself quite adept in assembling flatpack furniture, this however is not worth the time or money. It's a cheap, flimsy end product that won't be good to move after it's been set up- the slightest movement causes screws to come away and the frame to become wonky. I've ended up spending more on additional screws just to hold the thing in one piece. Recommend spending a little more in something else for peace of mind and less aggravation. I would have refunded after putting together the first one if I'd not already opened both boxes.

I bought two of these units for office storage (worked out about the same price as if I built them from 2.4x1.2m sheets of melamine myself). I expected that they would go together easily (I'm pretty good at building flat packs). They weren't too hard to build, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired.1. The screw clasps that hold the sides together are very flimsy. I broke two of them as you couldn't get enough tension on them to keep the sides together. In the end I drilled holes and screwed the sides together and covered the hole with a plastic cover. They should just do away with the clasps and use normal screws and dowels like Bedford do on their pantries.2. The bottom shelf is very flimsy. I sat on it (expecting it could take some weight - I'm 95Kg) and it snapped right where the clasp and dowel was. I'd already installed the unit, so I glued and clamped it, and put a cleat underneath the shelf and between the drawer runner.3. The back only sits in a groove, not nailed on so it makes the whole unit a bit flimsy and wobbly. There's some plastic angles that are supposed to be nailed in the the back corners (I gathered, as the instructions weren't clear). It helps somewhat, but the unit is still flimsy until attached to the wall. As I said, I put two together and that made it more stable.A couple of things that could have been improved on- It would have been good if there was already shelf adjustment holes drilled on the sides (it doesn't cost that much to use holed/ no hole board. I ended up making a hole template and drilled them myself (took a while) and put some extra shelves in (see pics).- If you notice, all of the units are different heights to each other. So if you want to mix and match (like one unit all doors, one unit with two draws, a half unit - you can't as they're all different heights). You basically have to buy 2+ of the same unit. Make them a standard height between the range? The doors are easy to adjust and line up. The drawers and runners work pretty well - although the drawers are very shallow (only come out 250mm and depth is 340mm for a 510mm depth unit). They look pretty good when you put a few together, I just wouldn't put anything heavy on the included shelves.

Needs better instructions and design
10 May 2022

I can’t recommend for a few reasons. First, this was so annoying to put together and so many assumptions had to be made from unclear instructions. I can easily see how people would have to undo things and redo them because the diagram didn’t show the exact way something was facing etc. Don’t listen to any of the other reviews about saying it was easy to put together because if you are not used to doing this sort of thing, you will struggle. Once put together it has plenty of design flaws too. The drawers could be about 1/3 larger as they don’t even go up to anywhere near the depth of the back of the wardrobe. The back boards are extremely annoying to keep in at the one time when assembling too without them falling out, why not use 1 solid slab? The cupboards could ... MoreI can’t recommend for a few reasons. First, this was so annoying to put together and so many assumptions had to be made from unclear instructions. The cupboards could be smoother opening and closing with a locking mechanism and at some stages you need a 2nd set of hands.

OK if you take it carefully
25 April 2020

I bought two of these 800 wide units as flat packs. Despite the other reviews, I would say that if you read the instruction booklet VERY carefully and take your time then you'll have an acceptable product - not as robust as old-style 'solid' wardrobes of yesteryear, but quite OK especially for the price. The other hint is don't be too strong! Most fixings especially the cams are not intended to be done up with great force. Therefore NEVER use a cordless screwdriver; rather use an old-fashioned (hand) screwdriver. When the final panel is added to the carcase, just tap around the edges of the thin panels where they fit into the grooves so that it all comes together properly. Also, adjust the position of the cams, since if not quite at the right angle they can stop the ... MoreI bought two of these 800 wide units as flat packs. Screws for hinges need to be tight, but be careful with the cams, not to overtighten.

Should have listened to the other reviews
31 October 2021

I read the reviews; thought surely, it can't be that bad. Maybe these people have unrealistic expectations of flat-pack furniture. It's cheap, after all.But no. It is as bad as they say, and I regret the purchase. Poorly made, flimsy construction, and good luck getting it together without something breaking. Complete garbage. Do yourself a favor and spend $30 more on something similar but from elsewhere cause this is the worst flat-pack unit I have ever assembled.

TRASH!!!
12 July 2022

This is rubbish nothing was corrected size had to cut pieces to size. Was poorly made and cheap material it’s weaker then ya 85 year old Nan’s knee caps. felt like it was gunna break when moving it a little bit and the bar bent when i hung 10 hoodies on it and the doors don’t close it looks like it’s waving to me everytime I walk past . Would not recommend..

Terrible start to finish
6 October 2022

Total nightmareIN MEDIATIONby J D. on 7 Oct 2022Flimsy chipboard held together by hardwear so tiny you will think it was meant for a dolls house! The 'back of the wardrobe is 4 separate bits of thin paper mache. It cannot handle its own weight because the screws are only a few MM into the chipboard it will fall apart if you do not add reinforcements. I will be asking for a refund..

Waste of money
4 February 2021

Flimsy rubbish. Very bad design. Would be far better to have a single piece for back like the other cupboards in the range. Not 4 separate back pieces. Have put together many flat packs on my own but 2 of us didn’t have enough hands to hold all 9 pieces while connecting the other side panel at the same time. Most of pre-drilled holes for the cams too low so screw sits too low not allowing decent connection. Would have returned it but we destroyed the box unpacking it. Ended up having to screw whole thing together but nothing changes the fact that it flimsy cupboard. Poor instructions too.don’t buy get something else.

perfect for my needs, good price, assembly took approx 1 hour
18 March 2022

I recently purchased this and decided to review it as previous reviews weren't that positive. I chose this because of the decent price point.Turns out, it was very heavy (strong dude, or ask the bunnings guys for help).it's a fantastic item for the price, only someone with limited DIY skills, or an inability to follow instructions would have difficulty assembling this. If you only had a limited amount of money to get your bedroom set up, then i would 100% recommend this product.probably would recommend two people setting this up.
