Moondrop Blessing 3 Earphone IEM 2DD 4BA Hybrid In-Ear Monitors Triple-Frequency Division Headphone

After crashing and burning with my first attempt at purchasing a "real" IEM earphone (I had fit issues with it), I decided to make another attempt and settled on the Moondrop Blessing 2. The reviews online put my mind at ease, but seeing as nobody has the exact same ear shape and we have different preferences, I was still a bit nervous. It images extremely well - much better than it should in this price bracket. The soundstage is above average in size and depth for an IEM in my opinion, and therefore I have zero complaints.Moving onto the tonality, the bass has enough depth and impact to satisfy all but true bass heads, though it is lacking a bit of texture and resolution when compared to earphones in the kilobuck price range; it's not one-note bass by any means, but the dynamic driver used on the Blessing 2 is simply average compared to some of the others out there.The midrange is where the Blessing 2 excels, offering loads of detail and clarity. If you like female vocals, this earphone should be quite pleasing to you. Male vocals are clean but sometimes can sound a tad lean; I only occasionally hear this and so it's a very minor grievance. Electric guitars have plenty of bite and are brought to the forefront of the experience, but they aren't overly in-your-face or aggressive, especially if the recording is decent. Finally, the treble walks a fine line of being extremely resolving (at this price range) and borderline bright, but it never crosses the line. The detail retrieval here is only rivaled by earphones costing many times the price of the Blessing 2, so I am quite happy with its performance here.Overall I'd rate the Blessing 2 a solid 5 out of 5 stars, as it's truly exceptional for the $320.00 asking price. If you prefer less treble extension (air above 10KHz) and more bass quantity, check out the X Crinacle Blessing 2:Dusk; but if you don't want to sacrifice treble resolution and prefer a natural bass presentation, the Blessing 2 should suit you well. I will most definitely be keeping this IEM in my collection - it's simply magical for the price I paid!

Quality:IEM quality is top tierPerformance:Sound quality is really really solidProbably the best IEM or any audio device that I have ever purchased, sound quality is superb. Some people said that the bass is not that strong and I can definitely say that’s true, but if you’re like me where EQ-ing your song is a thing, I see no problem with it. Even with a high bass after EQ, the audio is super super solid. Unboxing experience is also amazing, the box and the casing is really high quality. Delivery is also really fast! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A middle ground between the Blessing 2 and the Dusks

I am really liking them. They have a vaguely planar sound to them since the bass is so flat all the way down. Like planar its the quality of the bass not quantity, they are not as bassy and warm as the Starfields but there is no distortion at all down. But the mids and treble are nearly perfect id say. All listening done through a Topping D10 DAC and a Magni 3 AMP.Listening to Another World by Gojira and I can clearly hear the difference in every cymbal crash, place exactly where they are in the set. But they are not fatiguing the way that Beyerdynamics are (for reference I hear up to about 18.5khz).The mids seriously highlight female vocals. Listening to ABC (feat. To the point there there lyrics I could not understand.Listening to Finger - Audiotree Live by Elephant Gym and and clearity in the mids and treble are king here. There is a LOT of cymbal work going on here, and the bass takes lead for this song and its near perfect for this mix. Often the guitar is lost in the mix but the tone comes through clean and vibrant.Switching over to something I expect them to struggle with: this is what heartbreak feels like by JVKE. Personally I do not think this is a very well mixed song. JVKE is often overpowered by either the synths or the bass. And I have to say while there is a lot of clarity here they do not fix the mix, things sound out of balance and his is not as full as it should.Moving on to what I usually use to test out bass: Dead Man Walking by Grant & ellis. It is immediately obvious these are not bass cannons. There is a ton of texture and dynamics to the bass but this is one of the few genres where that upper bass important for the mix to feel full. I would argue they their clarity actually works against them here. You can hear EVERYTHING, even where you're really not meant to hear individual samples.As for pop, I listened to in my bag by thuy. And they once again shine. Her voice is perfect and the clarity highlights it and separates her voice well.Listening to I Really Want to Stay at Your House by Rosa Walton, Hallie Coggins and I love it. This song brings most of my headphones to their knees do to how full the mix is. There is a ton of bass and a soft vocal which means the vocals get drowned out completely if there is distortion. These stay completely un-distorted and everything sounds balanced with a ton of resolution. There is even something I thought was a synth but I actually can hear that its a vocal.Finally some hip-hop. Listened to Legend Has It by Run The Jewels and that clear bass shines wonderfully. Very subwoofer sound. Love it.Overall it is right where I like to be, I am not a huge fan of a bloated upper bass sound, but I DO like a good sub-bass, which these give me a vaguely 2.1 sound, where there a clear heavy sub bass but a clean upper bass like a sub-woofer would produce (which for my taste tends to make the music I listen to sound bloated). They out-perform everything in my collection. 9/10 I think the bass roll off could happen a tad latter and start higher, but that will likely be what is in the Dusk version from crinicle (which he confirmed he is working on). I saw a reviewer say that they are boring in a good way. They tend to just disappear which I think are the best thing a daily driver can do.

Great IEM with not very durable accessories.

Having tested various IEMs and headphones, Moondrop is one of my favorite brands and these IEMs themselves are amazing.Receiving backlash due to poor bass range (when it’s within their capability to produce), I still prefer this IEM due to the higher treble range and more crisp and clear vocals than other IEMs (for reference, airpod pros have a better bass than this IEM, but that is the only area this IEM is lacking). Mid range IEMs that competes way above its price bracket

Blessing 3 will continue to carry on the legacy of the great Blessing 2. The imaging and clarity is great - vocals and tuning is all on point. Bass might be a bit lacking but I don't think it's low, it is good enough to compete with some higher priced IEMs. The tuning is overall warm and feels great for vocals and everyday use.Comfort of the B3 is great - feels good even for long usage. The build quality of the IEM is great and it feels durable. The glossy finishing is a finger print magnet though - so keep wiping it to keep them shiny!For the accessories - the case is quite big and feels luxurious. The wires and ear tips are good as well.Do note that there's a Blessing 3 dusk coming soon which is going to continue the partnership with Crinacle. Next level in both sound and style

There’s been a lot of noise about these IEMs online; accusations of lacking bass, being too lean and so on; Don’t let that fool you, these are incredible sounding, balanced and a lot of fun to listen to.The technicalities are outstanding and they’re also quite comfortable (for my big ears) and not fatiguing at all, compared to my 7hz timeless. I thought they were quite resolving till I played them back to back and realised the vast gulf between these two IEMs. Timeless might have an arguably more ‘fun’ sound signature, but I couldn’t listen to those for more than an hour in a row. These, I can’t find any reasons to take them out, or even want to hours on end. Also, the nozzle doesn’t have a filter which is scary for wax blockages etc; I wish they’d been a little more generous on the accessories. You do get a waifu card, I guess. But based on just the IEMs, these are pretty much endgame unless you’re willing to spend a lot more.

The bees knees!

TL;DR these are probably the endgame IEMs for me right now.I consider my ER4SR as the reference for sound signature; very flat, airy mids and highs with really lean, tight and textured bass that digs deep but doesn't muddle the mids. My only complaint with the ER4SR is their abysmal comfort; it makes wearing them impossible beyond half hour at a stretch.Well, the Blessing 3s are all that ER4SR are but with a great fit and comfort. The material feels great in the ear, the cable is very good and supplied hard pouch can fit the IEMs with my Fiio BTR5 too. Also, my hearing is limited to 14KHz so my treble review may not be accurate.The bass is flat, goes deep and wakes up only when required and doesn't muddle the mids. It's sub bass extension is very apparent on tracks like Krigsgaldr by Heilung at 1:50 and The Hidden Orchestra's East London Street - Drums only version. The only thing missing now is the chest thump :)Overall very impressive for the price.A few nitpicks for the otherwise excellent pair:The bass - although it's flat and deep, is a little 'tubby' for my taste, for a lack of better term. I think this because of the Dynamic Driver doing bass duty rather than the tuning. I prefer the tight and fast response of BA for bass as well, YMMV.The Left and Right markers on both the cable and earbuds are either missing or not legible. This makes initial fitting guesswork. At least add red-blue to the cable like Fiio does.

Truly a Blessing

Overwhelmed by the level of details these gets into. Sounds extremely clear with ample bass to enjoy music. Yes little bright but does not sound at all sterile (found it quite musical, more than what I expected). May sound fatiguing to few after an hour or so but for short listening this iem is sonic bliss and has a true audiophile sound.Bass in my opinion is near sufficient, however tad more would have been great.Best part is vocal which is "crystal cleaaaar", quite forward and natural.Instruments really play phenomenal and bring smile to my face everytime I listen to these (same smile I used to get 3 years back when I listened Sundara 😀)Thanks
