Moondrop Chu II

Performance:Really love this product my best IEM so far.Quality:ExcellentThe product is really nice and the thing I find people did wrong is when buying their first IEM they tend to buy cheaper one like KQZ which I would not recommend. The product come with 3 ear tips that is good quality but if you want to enhance the sound I would recommend spinfit. The driver is metal and you can feel that it's made with high quality materials. If you bought the DSP one like me and having trouble to use it on your phone turn on OTG and research first if your phone support OTG. Good resolution and soundstage for the price and would recommend it. The earphone is V shaped which is my favourite sound signature because I'm not really into bass boosted. Looking forward in buying more stuff with you guys, probably Moondrop Blessings 3 or Aria next? But I'm gonna stick with CHU 2 for the time being. P/s: You guys might say that IEM in general is a bit expensive for a "wired earphone" but trust it worth it to spend more on audio equipment for the sake of your pleasure. Also please avoid cheap brand.

A Great Balanced Choice

Writing this after 5 days and almost 35 hours of usage. These are some of the best beginner-friendly IEMs one can get at this price. I bought the one with the Type-C connecter to use with my Laptop and Phone.Pros:- Balanced Sound- No heavy tuning from the factory side so it will sound as the artist intended (Won't be 100% natural as these have a bit of improved or say increased bass)- Improved bass than Chu 1, the Bass feels more natural and refined.- Great build quality with removable filters as a plus.- Accepts all the macro adjustments from the user end (I am talking about Custom EQ, I use a Rooted phone with Viper For Android which gives granular control over sound output.)- Superb in-line microphone with volume control as a plus.Cons:- The cable ... MoreWriting this after 5 days and almost 35 hours of usage. Some might want to opt for the foam tips that fit more perfectly and are versatile (Perhaps send me some dear Headphone Zone ;) What say lol)That's all. One can't ask for too much at the price it comes at yet these are some small things that can be improved in the next iteration. These are perfect for anyone looking for great IEMs.

Am a Basshead so its my take on this iem.

Firstly, i have mostly used big driver earphones in the past and bassy ones like sony xb 75 etc. So bear this fact that i am no audiophile when you read my perception about this iem.Now,Cons: 1.These sound tinny and thin to my liking as it has only 10mm driver.2. The bass is just lacking even if it is present on above 70% volume it sounded like a basic invisible bass (not a clubbing or fun vibe kind of bass).3. The sound is very tight and clean but it lacks fun and energy. audiophiles might like it but its con for me.4. Soundstage is small, just like a small tiny speaker on left and right side of your head.Pros:1. Clarity is present in lows, mids and treble also you can hear details.2. Build quality is excellent.3. Decent Clarity, No depth .Can consider other TWS/ earphones

History:This is my second IEM from the website the first being Tanchjim Tanya (which I liked the sound stage better than Moondrop Chu II)Sound:Those TTs served well for several month until the mic stopped working and then one side of the ear also stopped. These Moondrop Chu II have a clear sound but I'm not getting noticable sense of depth while listening to Songs. Microphone volume is low / glitchy as expected from Chi-Fi companies. Ofcourse I haven't tried these with a Dac as the reason I got the type C version is my dac stopped working.PS. Photo is there as proof, didn't feel like doing a proper photoshoot. QC issues but otherwise blind buy

This is my second pair, both had QC issues with the left ear piece not working but Headphone Zone replaced it and it's working fine for now, hope that stays that way. Other than that, everything else is great, the sound is better than anything I've ever tried, and I've used the Nothing Ear (1)s extensively which I bought for 3x the price. The sound quality is great, the build quality is great, the comfort is great, I can have these on all day and still not feel a thing. Listening to music, playing videogames, watching movies or videos on YouTube, it all feels great. I had to go back to my Airdopes 141s while I sent these to be repaired/replaced and after a solid year of using these it was readily apparent how much worse those were for only being around Rs. 500 ... MoreThis is my second pair, both had QC issues with the left ear piece not working but Headphone Zone replaced it and it's working fine for now, hope that stays that way. Quite impressive….also My First pair of IEMs

Thoroughly Enjoyable!

This is my second pair of IEMs, graduating from a set of KZ EDC's that failed on me months ago. Perhaps they are my first 'real' pair of IEMs.I have to say, the quality begets a luxurious feel that far exceeds its price point. The carrying case is a welcomed add-on, alongside the removable cable and ear tips.The listening experience is quite detailed with far better instrument separation than I've experienced with Airpods Pro (1st Gen) or the Airpods Max. It has a tasteful amount of bass, enjoyable mids, and highs that are not overpowering. Perhaps a set of Moondrop's renowned spring tips would elevate it further.The fit in my ear is very comfortable and far lighter than other audio equipment I've used. There are other earphones with better base but these dont lack bass so you dont miss it. And whatever doubt you might still have is definitely covered in the overall sound quality. Also these are not at all shouty for me and good for long listening as well. Overall very happy with my purchase and will definitely come back for more in future.
