The bin is compact and looks nice. The lid opens a little abruptly which can hit against wall behind it. I have mastered pressing lightly on the pedal to avoid this happening. My main issue with the bin is getting the bag to stay around the lip of the inner compartment. It either totally sticks out and looks terrible or it slips down and makes a mess when putting rubbish in. Overall, for the price point, the bin is pretty good, but not amazing.

Had this bin for a while now.. both the pedals are broken but still able to function although flimsy. But if a hassle to put the inner bin container back in once you’ve lined it with a bag. Wouldn’t buy this bin again

Excellent bin, one compartment for general rubbish and another for recycling. My only complaint is I would prefer it to have a filled in bottom. However, most bins don't have that and this one has good internal containers so it hasn't been a problem so far.

It’s honestly insane how much I like this bin. Being able to seperate the rubbish and recycling easily at an affordable price is wonderful.Before we had this bin, we used to put recycling in a cardboard box, so this is much more slightly.
I love this bin, definitely worth paying a little more to get a good one, the last one i had was cheap but did not last long until the lid wouldn't close. It's a little small but it actually works well so now i need to empty it more, saves it from getting smelly.
This bin is exactly what I was looking for. I use one side for general rubbish and the other for soft plastics to recycle. It's big, but not too big, and as it's rectangular it fits up against a wall neatly (vs. a circular bin). Not uber high quality, but for the price it's an excellent bin.
The stainless steel housing is great - but the stress points of the bin are made of cheap plastic. The product description says "this bin features a solid stainless steel body and pedals for long-lasting performance and repetitive use", but the two hinge points (one at the pedal and the other levering the lid) have broken for us within a few months.
The lids are very fragile and easily damaged - it's an odd design choice where the body of the bin is very sturdy.The pedals are also unreliable. One works well but the other one doesn't and has had problems from day one.Find an alternative. $50 is a lot to pay for a bin that doesn't work.
Both Covers for foot pedal broke off within a month of use. It’s also hard to get the internal buckets out. One star because it does function as a receptacle for rubbish. But Would not recommend
Great bin, looks good in kitchen and complements other stainless appliances, however whenever I step on either of the pedals the bin slides away from me. I now have to find something to go underneath to stop it from sliding away! The bottom is not rubber so it doesn't adhere/stick to tiles so very slippery. (Photo below shows underside of bin and little stick on circle thingies I've stuck on to stop it from slipping but they haven't worked! May just get a rubber mat to put underneath the whole unit). Otherwise a great bin for 2 people. Could be bigger like 20-25L would've been more preferable but it's doing the job.
