Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray 160 ml

I took a trip to Morocco a few years back and got to see argan oil being made, which was a really cool experience that sparked an interest in incorporating this product into my haircare routine. I got the chance to test Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray which I've been using occasionally (as needed) for the past several weeks. On the positive side, this product is light, convenient to apply and brush through your hair, and has no offensive texture or smell. I like the many beneficial ingredients and the fact that it does not make my hair sticky, crunchy, or overly greasy. However, that's about all I can say in its favour. It's not that this product is bad: on the contrary, my experience with it was fine. It just doesn't really do much for me or my hair. I like the many beneficial ingredients and the fact that it does not make my hair sticky, crunchy, or overly greasy. However, that's about all I can say in its favour. It's not that this product is bad: on the contrary, my experience with it was fine. It just doesn't really do much for me or my hair. This might seem like such a small thing, but my biggest disappointment was that it doesn't have that salon fresh smell. In fact, it really has no smell at all (not sure what other reviewers thought they smelled!). I did miss that quite a lot from previous products I've used. Also, I was unable to use much on my fine strands without it appearing unwashed; unlike heavier products, I could get away with a few sprays which is nice, but I don't feel I could apply enough to get the full benefit. I did not really see any visible shine or notice any colour protective effects. I tried applying it on a frizzy day and was still frizzy.Overall, this product may work for some, but did not do much of anything on my fine-but-plentiful lightly wavy hair. I would not purchase again.

I really like the MOROCCANOIL PROTECT & PREVENT SPRAY. For reference I have really curly, frizzy hair that’s bleached in one section and I do experience breakage sometimes. I was excited to try this product as an all-in-one hair protectant. I feel like it does help prevent brassiness with the portion of my hair that is bleached. I can’t say if it helps with color retention or works wells as a heat protectant because my hair isn’t colored and I don’t usually apply any heat to my hair but I will say that it is a lightweight product and isn’t greasy. It does have a light pleasant scent and What surprised me the most was that after spraying it on my hair, that scent lasted for a couple days. Would definitely consider purchasing in the future!

I recieved this as a sample from PinchMe and I couldn't be happier I did!! I have already purchased a full size of it, from Sephora!! Morrocanoil is a brand that I could not live without! Every product I've tried from them has 100% done exactly what it's claiming! They hit it out of the park every time! Now Morrocanoil does tend to be a more "luxurious" and expensive brand but ladies, your paying for the quality and perfection! This made my hair feel so soft and silky smooth! I absolutely 100% noticed that it protected my hair from the environmental stressors. This time of year, going from warm inside to freezing cold outside, my hair tends to get frizzy and brittle. This fixed that right up for ya girl! I didn't frizz or become dry at all! The smell is one of the ... MoreI recieved this as a sample from PinchMe and I couldn't be happier I did!!
