I took a trip to Morocco a few years back and got to see argan oil being made, which was a really cool experience that sparked an interest in incorporating this product into my haircare routine. I got the chance to test Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray which I've been using occasionally (as needed) for the past several weeks.On the positive side, this product is light, convenient to apply and brush through your hair, and has no offensive texture or smell. Also, I was unable to use much on my fine strands without it appearing unwashed; unlike heavier products, I could get away with a few sprays which is nice, but I don't feel I could apply enough to get the full benefit. I did not really see any visible shine or notice any colour protective effects. I tried applying it on a frizzy day and was still frizzy.Overall, this product may work for some, but did not do much of anything on my fine-but-plentiful lightly wavy hair. I would not purchase again.

I really like the MOROCCANOIL PROTECT & PREVENT SPRAY. For reference I have really curly, frizzy hair that’s bleached in one section and I do experience breakage sometimes. I was excited to try this product as an all-in-one hair protectant. I feel like it does help prevent brassiness with the portion of my hair that is bleached. I can’t say if it helps with color retention or works wells as a heat protectant because my hair isn’t colored and I don’t usually apply any heat to my hair but I will say that it is a lightweight product and isn’t greasy. I was skeptical when I received my free sample of Moroccanoil Protect and Prevent Sprat from PINCHme because I have never had any luck with heat or color protection sprays in the past. I need the protection, but my baby fine hair has always looked weighed down or greasy when I’ve used this type of product. Unlike all the other products, however, this Moroccanoil spray is virtually weightless. It smooths my dried out ends without sacrificing volume. I can even hold a curl after using this! I also really appreciate that this spray has a very light scent. I’m a little sensitive, and some other products by this brand have been too strong for me. This one is just right- so right that I plan to order a new bottle as soon as I finish this one!

I have used their intense hydrating mask and their oil both regular version and light version for years and their dry shampoo for blondes is insanely good... This product I felt helped to make my hair softer and shinier after blow drying and way more light weight then obviously their hair serum or other cream products for styling.
