I have never found a product from Moroccan Oil that I didn’t love. I have very straight hair so I purchased the smoothing shampoo and conditioner and it does just that. My hair feels so soft and silky and the smell is divine! I always get compliments on how good my hair smells. After just a few uses I noticed a huge difference in my hair. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a lightweight formula, which it is advertised as, and I generally like a thicker product but that is just my personal preference. This shampoo is my holy grail for my heavily highlighted blonde hair. This shampoo and conditioner set, along with other Moroccanoil products, are the only products that have taken my hair from feeling like hay, dry and brittle, to soft, shiny, and healthy feeling. I try other products and am always disappointed and ALWAYS come back to the Moroccanoil line. I cannot say enough good things, and they smell amazing. This shampoo is very rich, so it is important to note that you only need a small amount and to emulsify with water before applying. Additionally, ensure you rinse the conditioner very well or it can leave some greasiness.

PinchME sent me samples of this MoroccanOil Hydrating Conditioner and the matching shampoo and I tried them together earlier this week. Overall, I’m a fan of MoroccanOil products and this experience only further confirmed that! This conditioner was very creamy in its consistency. I wasn’t a fan of the scent unfortunately, I couldn’t quite place it but it smelled similar to plastic somehow. Thankfully the scent didn’t linger in my hair after rinsing. This is the best conditioner! I adore him! Delicately moisturizes the hair, perfectly restores it, does not complicate it, has a quick effect. Hair after styling! I don't know how Moraconoil achieves this, but always after any of their lines, the hair lays perfectly after washing, like it's already styled. There is no better product! The biggest bottles are almost $100 each. But when you think about it, one of the big bottles can last me an entire year so it’s actually cheaper versus buying a $20 shampoo every 2 months or less. I do have favorites but I’ve always had a feeling that the shampoo and conditioner can perform better. When I received samples of something that has oil in it AND is hydrating I was a little bit worried. My hair are highlighted, pretty fine with oily roots and dry ends. It is pretty easy to weight them down but I can tell how desperately my ends are dry. This gave my hair exactly what they needed. Lift, clean feeling, with the much needed hydration for my ends. I was so excited to try these Moroccanoil products as they had great reviews, but I've had an awful experience not only with the shampoo and conditioner I ordered, but also with trying to initiate a return. When I used these products my skin immediately turned bright red and I broke out into allergic welts, and my skin was raw and rough for days after discontinuing use and washing the products off. Even worse ... my hair felt like hay. I immediately tried to initiate a return ... but the website won't allow me to do so. I emailed customer service 10 days ago trying to initiate a return, but never got a resposne. Tried calling their number to get a customer service representative, and was met with a pre-recorded message stating that they're upgrading their systems ... Ok, so I’ve had my hair box dyed and professionally highlighted on and off for the past 3 years, so to say my hair is damaged is an understatement. Before Moroccan Oil, I was using Olaplex and IGX Good Behavior spray to keep my hair frizz free and soft. I had some MO Light and fell in love with the smell, so decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. WOW! Seriously… WOW! I’ve only used the Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner one time last night, finishing up with MO Light and let it air dry. Then this morning, I straightened my hair and finished with MO Light again. My hair has never been softer and I was pleasantly surprised to see how I have next to no frizz!!! I’ll forever be a MO customer… The smell and the results are unmatched!
