Mortein No Touch Mouse Trap Twin Pack 2 Pack

I have a mice phobia! So will be repurchasing these to keep me safe! These traps are great cause they are simply and easy to use. It will indicate when a mouse is caught so you can just easily dispose of it all in one go. Then replace with a new trap, and rid yourself of mice.

I was kindly gifted this mousetrap and I really like that the trap looks like a canister and you wouldn’t see the mouse caught inside, especially if you have young kids that love any type of critter. It has easy instructions for use and indicates when a mouse is caught so you can dispose of it. I have placed it in the garage and waiting for the first visitor.

I’m unclear as to whether the trap kills the mouse or if it just traps it inside the container. It is a bit difficult to see the red indicator spot recessed into the top cover, so it’s hard to see whether the trap has been activated or not without getting very close with a good light. This makes it hard to put it in a good spot out of the way, where mice are more likely to travel, because if you don’t check it frequently you could end up with a dead mouse inside the trap and not have any idea that it’s there.

I love the idea on how these work - so much better than the old school cheese traps. As a person who strongly dislikes these type of four legged creatures I find these traps to be great and easy to use. Product received for free for testing purposes.

I bought this because I don’t have the guts to stomach the visual of the dead mouse in a snap trap. I was enticed by the “you won’t see the dead mouse” advertisement. I had a humane trap and this trap set up in different areas of the kitchen behind my stove where I was having a problem with visitors. I also set up a camera so I would get an alert when there was motion back there. I watched 2 mice crawl ontop of this trap and look inside of it- never even attempted to enter it. They are smart, this trap will not go off until the mouse is completely inside, which requires them to go into a completely dark black box that’s circular- so they can’t even visualize the food review until they are all the way in. Unfortunately mice don’t work that way. They like to see their reward otherwise they use extreme avoidance. I caught and released 4 total over a week in the humane trap. They would walk right in that tube NO issue. This trap, sounds like a great idea, but it was a complete waste of money for me!!!

Not much to review on this product. It sounds as though it will be good. I like the fact that you can’t see the dead mouse and that it traps it internally. We don’t have many mice if any at all so this product may not be the perfect one for us.

I had a great photo to share but the campaign ended so I deleted it. It showed that something maybe a rat had chewed through the top of the trap, exposing the spring and breaking the whole trap apart. That was after one day in the garage. The other one has been sitting in the garage for around 2 months and hasn’t caught anything, but maybe we only have rats that are too big for the hole. I do hate that they are such a large piece of single use plastic and I much prefer the reusable traps.

I liked this product easy to use and seems to work well. I have no complaints. Only thing is I have found peanut butter to be more effective then the bait inside but that is a personal preference. I would recommend to a friend if you are after a single use item.

Although mouse season have come and gone we can't help but notice how beautifully packed product the Mortein: kills mice is. We particularly like the easy to deploy, trap and all contained dispose function. Well designed product and really delivered on their statement of: “No view, No touch”.
