I have always been a big fan of ASUS going back over 30 years. I recently purchased the ASUS PRIME B760-PLUS D4 mobo, along with a new CPU, CPU fan and new RAM. The new mobo replaces my ASUS P7H55-M PRO mobo, which has served me well for over 20 yrs. I most recently upgraded the CPU and RAM, and enjoyed overclocking and tweeking it. I was very pleased with it, but starting in 2025, Microsoft will no longer support the generation of CPU that it has. I added a 1TB SSD to one of the mobo's 3 M.2 slots to load up a clean version of Win 11. The new mobo and all my new added components is smokin' fast! I really love it, and would solidly recommend it for anyone who enjoys DIY electronics. Also being a great gaming mobo, there are other nice features like Aura Creator & Sync, Amoury Crate, Fan Xpert2+, the AI Suite 3, and much more. ENJOY!!

It’s just for luxe I’ve ran into so many issues with with this motherboard. I called ASUS almost every single day for a week and finally they said that they were going to transfer me to escalations and I will receive a call back in the next 1 to 2 business days never happened. I called Assous back. They still couldn’t pull up the case number. And before that the game started getting really laggy, however, when I was checking, the motherboard temperature in bios. It was at normal temperature still. So I don’t know if this was a bad batch because as soon as I bought a new motherboard and re-hooked everything up, everything was working just fine so I don’t think it was a user error. I think it was just a defective motherboard. However, I couldn’t really give it a solid chance because customer service never really called me back or never followed up It’s a very beautiful motherboard that’s all it’s good for is just for some looks. It is not meant for gaming. At least my personal experience however though. ASUS it’s a solid and a really good brand. It’s just a tough gaming line which sucks. It should really be discontinued.

The BIOS sees all the components I installed, including the USB drives with the WIN 11 Installer, but when you save and exit, it does not see the Win 11 Installer and your are back to the BIOS opening screen. I did my due diligence in pairing all the components I installed by researching the qvl's on both sides. Speaking, texting or emailing with ASUS is a continuing and growing frustration on my end each time. Yes, ASUS is polite and patient, especially during phone conversations due not being able to hear or understand what is being said over static laced phone connections, but they also get into a loop about trying different things just like their BIOS. I originally started just like the instructions tell you, by removing the battery, clearing CMOS, downloading the latest BIOS and loading that in before getting to the Win 11 installer. ASUS suggested going back to original BIOS version and stepping it up version by version, then they suggested clearing CMOS again, a pain because I have to take the GPU card out because of my large hands to remove the battery to clear CMOS. Getting the GPU off means you have to reapply a double sided tape to the GPU support base when reinstalling the GPU. No suggestion from ASUS has worked, so I thought maybe it was just this board, so I requested a replacement from my vendor. One was sent one and I went through all the same litany of motions and processes with the same results, NADA. From the start, I went out of my way to make sure the components were deemed compatible. I am now returning two boards and still don't have a working PC. If there is a combination of hardware that is incompatible with your M/B you should figure it out and publish the problem hardware to avoid this kind of disaster. I am just a user who does not do this for money and I don't think I should have a testing facility to debug your products. If there is an update or a fix for your BIOS that is needed DO IT! I did my due diligence, you do yours. Going to a different Brand. ASUS is off my shopping list now nor will I recommend your brand again.
Very good motherboard for a first time builder. I bought this one because it was relatively cheap, and the fact that it fit in my micro atx case perfectly without any issues. When everything got put together, the bios was easy to navigate through, and it was xmp compatible so I was able to run my ram at 3,200mhz with no major headache. I like the fact it had so many options within the bios that it gives me a peace of mind that I can change certain settings to have the pc run efficiently. It even has the setting of how fast the cpu fan and case fan runs you don’t need to download msi afterburner to do that, it’s all done within the bios easily. It also had an easy setting for your boot drive so it didn’t take me long at all to figure it out it was quite user friendly ... MoreVery good motherboard for a first time builder. The motherboard and the parts combined makes my pc run super fast and works so well I was surprised how good it turned out I am not disappointed at all. I highly recommend an Asus motherboard, and will be considering getting a much more high end ASUS motherboard for my second build. I have an MSI motherboard for a different computer of mine which works very well too, but I like the ASUS better for settings, and the fact I don’t have any weird glitches or issues from the start. Everything works as it should right away and I like it when it’s that way. I’ll have to consider getting one of the “TUF” gaming ones. Thank you for making a great user friendly motherboard, will be getting another one later on for sure!
So it is an Asus board, it is solid and works as it should, no issues at all there. The challenges I have are design issues that are very annoying to me and I honestly would return it if I could at this point. Not building an HD gaming rig or anything like that, just a little bit higher end GPU which covers 2 slots on the back of the case. First issue is that the placement of the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot is such that any modern GPU is going to cover the other PCIe expansion slots so that they are useless. I realize that the form factor plays a role here, but even if the GPU used only one slot position, so tight that there would be no room for another card in there. Next the sound chipset is odd, the Asus board I just upgraded from allowed you to map the plugs for the sound for the system you are plugging into it. I have a 5.1 system and it uses at least two of the plugs for the sound speakers and sub. Only the green plug is recognized so I only my left and right speakers work. I downloaded all available drivers and software and nothing allows for mapping, my last one auto recognized what you plugged in and allow for the black and pink plugs to be mapped. Lastly for this review, though there are more issues, there is not a USB C built into the board and it does not have the newer style header (not the pin style) to connect a front or rear mounted USB 3.2 connection. So it is challenging to get full speed USB C on the system, not impossible, but it is costly for something that is rapidly catching up with A for number of devices available. So don't get me wrong, it is a quality board, but unless you are building a little business rig or something very simple, it will be a pain.
This board has a ton of great features and is definitely hard to beat at its price point. However, it has some RAM issues that disappoint. The biggest issue with the RAM is ASUS is slow to update the QVL. I have 96 gigabytes of RAM I'd love to use on this board. In theory, I should be able to do this as my RAM is all Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600 with the same CAS latency and timings. However, using all 96 gigabytes of RAM causes the system to be unstable and crash. I can only assertain that it has to do with the fact that my 32gb set is newer than the 64gb set. The 64gb set is version 4.43.02, which is listed on the QVL and the 32gb set is version 3.43.04 which is not listed on the QVL. Which it seems odd that the motherboard would be so finicky about versions since the RAM is practically identical.I understand needing to define qualified vendors to ensure the system etc. However, this is ridiculous. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to guarantee the exact version when I order RAM from Newegg or Amazon. I have a 7 year old ASUS Z270-E Gaming motherboard and it has 48gb of RAM on it from two different vendors and it works just fine. Because the RAM has the exact same specs. If ASUS can't update the board to support more RAM versions I may need to return this board and do something else. The RAM issue is my only complaint with the board. However, it's an issue for the work I do that's too big of a deal to ignore. If you're doing work that is RAM intensive this board might not do it for you.
This board was absolutely overkill for what I needed it for, but it performs flawlessly. First and foremost, its a design choice. The main focus of this board is its minimalistic style and the monstrous i/o options. The huge standout on this board is its connectivity with 2.5g and 10g ethernet allowing fast network attached storage, as well as a crazy amount of SATA/nvme slots giving you a virtually endless supply of storage options on this board. Oh and I totally forgot the two Thunderbolt 4 ports allowing almost anything to be plugged in at insane speeds. I didn't notice any LED's on the board, I didn't come into any issues with installation either so there likely is only the error code LED's present. It has everything I could want from support for up to 192gb of ram at up to 7200MHz, dual pcie gen5x16 slots, wifi 6E and bluetooth 5.3. It has everything you need. I have only minor gripes with the heatsink shroud around the i/o which made for zero visibility of where i was inserting my case screws, where I initially managed to lodge a screw between the plastic and the mobo before being able to fish it out and mount it properly. As for some neat quality of life sleek installation it would be cool if there were more side mounted connectors to allow for better cable management and less tension on the connector on the board when channeling through your case. Only things for me holding it back from being a perfect board. (I mean if it was cheaper that would help its case as well haha)I paired this build with the new Asus PA602 case, and a proart 4070 TI Super. Have had zero issues since day one. Highly recommend this board for any creative type dealing with lots of data, audio, video, or 3d rendering.
My previous Asus purchases have been limited to a tablet and two desktop monitors. But I recently had my local computer shop whiz kids build me an A-list gaming tower, leaving the brand name decisions for inclusion in the machine's construction up to them. The result of my computer upgrade was what the tech who put together the computer called "the best gaming tower in Southern Maryland." And the motherboard they chose for inclusion in my package was the TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS WiFi. I have included the list of superior components the TUF Gaming motherboard is tasked with directing because I am ecstatic to report that with the first push of the power button, I could tell immediately that the guys who built my machine certainly knew what they were doing. The Asus X670E-Plus WiFi has performed flawlessly in the two weeks I have used it, and its associated components have worked together seamlessly to provide me with not only excellence in gaming operation but unilaterally presents a perfect platform for all of the day-to-day surfing, bill-paying, and printing needs I execute every day. Having owned computers since the early dinosaur days of KayPro, I know a little about how a computer should operate. And I can attest here that my newest acquisition powered by the Asus TUF motherboard exceeds all of my expectations. If you are a serious gamer and/or daily heavy-duty computer user I cannot recommend this motherboard highly enough. On a 5-Star basis...I rate Asus TUF 6 stars.
I've only had this motherboard for a week, while I love Asus Motherboards there is a big advantage to buying their top tier boards. Most part if you have a clue and can read it's almost imposable to brick you new hardware. that said I feel they should have a little more details on what each function does with more details and references to change certain configuration elements, once again this is my opinion and while it is just that for a new individual trying to build their first system it would be more beneficial if some of this was addressed. So far though I've been able to under volt and hit the 5.1 ghz mark on my I7-10700k with no problem and that is air cooled as well. One of the biggest reasons I choose to use Asus Motherboards as they have really though it all out for the newcomer and the enthusiast. Would I recommend this Motherboard, YES if you are on a budget and still want features you will not get on lower tier motherboards then this is the one you'll need.
