add-on instead of included in the kit. Long story short, order the extra $20 piece so you’re not out $1000 for a new phone like me.

The stabilisation will be affected and the image will jump around. This concern again was discussed and the response was that they know about this but only “1%“ experience this and they will not cover this damage. I don’t know how this 1% exist because on my online review and presentation the comments where 10 negative then 2 good. That is way more than 1% and that was the biggest disappointment... the fault is recognised with the case with the mount as a shock proof with everything but no responsibility for it just taking out new products first ( wireless charging etc ) and then planing of improvements... was told all this will be fixed in the next month when receiving the new test versions, probably the finish product will come out in a year or more after test and till then the sales goes on with this faulty product in my opinion. The good part it that most of the people know about it, but some are still buying and damaging the phones in 1-2 months depending of the shock exposure. Hope this will push them as a brand to improve because the design is brilliant but rushed finish or not controlled. The Ideas of improvement was sent to the Facebook admin and hopefully added to the folder so will not write them here but the important stuff is this... brilliant product, could be better, not confident it will not damage my phone.

Inadequate information about the installation was provided prior to or after the sale, although I asked. I’m not at all happy with the installation even now.Unless yours is a “plug and play” installation I wouldn’t recommend the quadlock phone mount kit.

This is my 2nd kit, which I bought for a 2nd bike. I really like Quad Lock phone mounts for motorcycles. Lots of adjustability and good quality. I use the handlebar clamp mount and the kit comes with all of the diameter adjustment I’ve needed. My only complaint is that my original phone case developed a defect after a year, BUT Quad Lock promptly replaced it under warranty for me! This is a well thought out system and allows you to mount your phone on a motorbike, bicycle, and/or car. Great Stuff!

I actually took a few weeks to take the dive and pay the money out to buy the Quad lock - but I must admit even though all my friends swear by theirs, at a price tag of £167 I looked for other cheaper alternatives. There is nothing out there that comes close and after just returning from a 2700 mile bike tour of Europe the quad lock was faultless. I purchased the wireless charger, anti vibration device and waterproof cover and my phone was secure , charged and dry through everything the heavens threw down on it. Build quality is excellent and I have to admit it’s well worth the money.

A well designed modular system, robustly made. Phone mounts with a satisfying click and is easily removed. I opted for the additional shock absorber mount which I think is worth while. It does how make mounting the phone a little more fiddly as the mount moves when engaging the phone - minor issue and not worth knocking any stars off!. Price - well yes it’s quite expensive (especially when you’ve been using a £5 eBay jobby) but I feel it’s worth the money. By the way I purchased the polymer material mount.

I purchased several mounts. Suction cup mount with a charger which falls off most of the time, adhesive mount with a charger that comes off when you hit a severe enough bump, and a bicycle mount which is decent and holds the phone in place. I also purchased a blue ring that goes on my I phone case that comes off in my pocket and a rain guard for the I phone which is great for protection from rain but makes it extremely hard to use due to the thickness of the case. It is not sensitive at all. Overall, I have spent probably $250 on cell phone mounts that aren’t that great.

I love this set up! I was looking for a safe, secure option to attach my iPhone 12 Pro Max to my Honda Trail 125 and this was the perfect match! The cover fits my phone perfectly, the arm provides a super secure attachment to my trail bike handlebars, and the locking mechanism makes it easy to lock and unlock my phone from the bike. I did purchase the optional rain/weather cover and vibration dampener and highly recommend both. I primarily ride this bike on dirt road and bumpy trails and this set up works perfectly, giving me the confidence my phone will stay in place without worry. Did I mention I love this set up?!?! :-)

Installation was easy and the tools were provided. The kit provided everything I needed and the product has held up well for the first month or so. Vibration dampener works well and as intended. I switched from Rokform because I was worried about messing my phone up from vibrations, especially from my bike which vibrates a lot. Everything’s plastic, so it’s lightweight. I like how it all fits and locks together, it feels very solid and not worried at all that it might fly off. Cheaper than my previous mount and still just as functional. The overall vibe of the whole thing is great and worth the money. I ordered a case, mount, vibration dampener, and colored latch. For the color options, I would’ve rather had the option to change the color than to pay almost $10 extra just to have a different color latch in addition to the blue one. With the plastic construction, I know that it’s about function and reducing cost and increasing production. Instead, maybe have a metal version, in addition to the current, that reflects the appropriate cost to allow uses to pay for a “nicer” looking product who don’t want an obviously plastic mount sticking on their bars. This was something I enjoyed about the Rokform. Lastly, the case is very basic and smooth, and I like it, but added design on ergonomics would be a nice luxury. Overall, I recommend buying this product to save some money, protect your phone, and to have the ability to add extra features like wireless charging and added environmental protection while in more extreme environments. Being able to buy a basic package and later upgrade it is a huge benefit as well.

The Quad lock mount and phone case are excellent.I had some difficulty in fitting the handle bar mount to my bike (Kawasaki Z900RS) as the handle bar tube differs in diameter over its length. The final (only) mounting position, slightly obscures the speedo display, but not too muchThe only negative comment I have is on the iPhone 7 Plus weather cover. It is not clear plastic, but slightly opaque. This makes it difficult to read the phone display in sunlight (with sun visor)It also did not total prevent water ingress during heavy rain.Overall I am pleased with my purchase of the quad lock, but would like the rain cover to be more effective.
