I bought this to replace an older. I wanted to take advantage of Bluetooth to be able to hear the turn-by-turn directions, and to also take phone calls and receive texts via the GPS unit. I have a Samsung S7 phone and a Sena 10S headset. My initial pairing went well, but about halfway through the ride I had some issues that ended up being due to another Bluetooth device I had paired to my phone (a Samsung Gear watch). Once I figured that out, I had no problems with hearing and controlling music that was on my phone, taking calls, seeing texts on my GPS, or hearing the directions. I do know that not all headsets will work with it: check with your headset manufacturer and Roadtop if you aren't sure.

Easy to use and install. Great for using for longer journeys in the car as it streams various apps for videos and music. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price cant fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again ??

Works perfectly in my 2024 Telluride. Comes with everything loaded and ready to go. Also easily allows you to put your own apps on it. Nothing is missing here, and I can't recommend it enough for those who like to be entertained on their ride.

The Roadtop GPS navigator unit works as advertised, easy to read, glove friendly and provides a lot of useful information. It was easy to mount on my Concours 14 and the blue tooth function easily connected to my helmet speakers. The directions come in loud and clear and I can follow them easy without even looking at the unit when I am in traffic trying to find some point of interest I programmed in. Works great in daylight sun and perfect at night too.
Great product at better price. Needed "bright display" for motorcycle riding. This one excellent. Easy to use with gloves on and rugged exterior very nice. Free on line map upgrades is a plus, and red light and speed trap information very nice. Very pleased with this fine product.

Maybe not so much if you're in the city, but motorcyclists don't tend to look to spend time stop light to stop light. We're out in the middle of nowhere, on the twisties. Do remember, however, that this thing has to be weather proof, and it is just that. I thought this unit was going to be great and it was at first but on my first trip out of town with it, it stopped working properly. At first, the touchscreen would only function intermittently and then stopped responding completely. I've attempted to contact customer service, but they will not respond. I left a similar review on their website, but they took it down. They seem to remove any review that isn't 5 stars. Controlled information, go figure. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase one of these cheap carplay units.
This is good in that is makes the buttons bigger and very easy to type while wearing gloves, but bad because you have to keep bouncing the keyboard back and forth. But if you hit the little globe button in the top right corner, you get the full keyboard just like any other Garmin GPS intended for vehicle use. I also have the Garmin Dezl and DezlCam units, and this one works basically the same, except for the camera and the truck-specific options, of course. But it makes up for it by having motorcycle-specific options. It's extremely stable and doesn't bounce at all. If you've used any other vehicle-type GPS and like it, you'll love this one for your motorcycle!
We purchased this last spring & it's is everything we hoped & more. Most important is it is visible outdoors while using it. It fits securely with not slipping. We love the route planning - we will often get to our destination - then set the GPS to Adventure Mode to design a meandering ride home. We have discovered roads that we would have never known to explore - traveled past farms & lakes to give us the most beautiful nature rides. We highly recommend this GPS !
I've only had this for a week so I can't comment on it's long term attributes. I found it easy to install and use. It's similar to my car units so there wasn't much of a learning curve. It paired easily with my headset and I like have the turns spoken to me so I don't have to look at the screen so often. As for the screen I found it to be readable even in direct afternoon sunlight, without the use of a accessory shade. I highly recommend.
