AVOID IF YOU USE ANDROID AUTO

This phone's decent for it's price range and the features are good, but there is definite over heating issue. But the main problem is that it's connectivity over bluetooth and cable to Android Auto is not stable - music and maps work fine, but calls keep dropping from car speaking to phone speaker after a few seconds and suddenly connects back & drops again. If you use a car with Android Auto and take calls while driving then this is not the phone for you. Motorola support asked me to reset all settings & flash the phone but that didn't work and they have no clue how to fix it. One+ is a better option at INR25k.

Battery is not Good.

Battery timing is very bad. Hardly lasts half a day. Hardly lasts a day even on standby. Leaving the battery at 100% will leave it at 60% in an hour without use. It seems that the battery is not original, as the 5000MAH battery lasts at least a day. My friend also has Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, its battery timing is much better than my mobile.

I bought a Motorola edge 30, around 18 months ago and it just stopped working. It decided to turn itself off and then when I turned it back on all the data was reset. I then set it all up again for it to happen again and after that it'll turn on stay on for a couple of minutes then off it goes. The most annoying thing is that I really loved the phone up until that point but unfortunately I just can't trust another Motorola product again. I don't have the money to be spending £300 every year and a half on a new phone. Also be careful if you are ordering from England be aware that you will be the one who pays the importation fees to the tax man. Terrible for a billion dollar company.

Edge 50 Fusion
2 July 2024

I have had this phone for a few weeks now and am really impressed with it. Battery life is very good, lasting a couple of days of average use. Screen is very vibrant and bright. Very smooth scrolling and is great for videos. Cameras aren't bad at all. Not as good as my husband's pixel 7 pro but very usable and I am happy with them. Very easy to use camera app. The software is smooth and I like how I can change things to how I like them. The phone runs all my apps without lag or pausing so seems to have enough power in reserve.Only minor gripes I have is that the back and close buttons are the opposite way around from my last phone and you can't switch them like you can on some phones. I will get used to it but the option to switch them would have been good.

Excellent phone
15 November 2024

I bought this a few weeks ago and it's been good from the start. It's a solid all-round phone that does everything well enough for the average everyday user and at a reasonable price. It's fast and responsive in use, and the screen is bright and vivid. Signal strength is good, even in poor reception areas. Bluetooth connectivity works smoothly.Battery life typically extends over two days of typical use (calls, e-books, music, web-browsing).The rear camera has produced effective images under all the conditions in which I've employed it. The front camera does it's job as expected.Build quality seems solid and it feels good in the hand. It can be slippery to hold, however, so a simple gripable protective case ($10 ebay) is a wise investment.

It's a good phone but I wish I got it earlier.
31 August 2024

I bought this back in July and it's incredible for the price. I wish I bought earlier considering it would have came with free Moto buds and free screen damage repair stuff. The phone performs well, takes great photos and videos and excellent ultra wide shots.I bought it in marshmallow blue for 349.99 GBP and I loved the vegan leather soft material on the back for the 2 days I used it without a case. The perfume slightly through me off but with the case on it's okay. I don't really enjoy the curved screen as much as I thought I would but the display is still really good. It gets awfully bright and it brings alot pop into the colours. 4 out of 5 for me.

Performing well!
13 November 2024

I'm not super into tech, don't care if I don't have the best specs, but I can't stand devices that are slow and buggy. So far, so good with this one. Camera is pretty decent. Screen is great. Performance is good. Battery life is great. I haven't tried to push it super hard, but have had no issues. One thing I don't like is that it is slippery! The edge to edge screen means the case doesn't offer any resistance if lying face down. And the supplied case is also quite low friction. So it will slide if placed on a non flat surface

Phone has strong perfume odor
2 November 2024

As soon as I opened the packaging, I noticed a very strong perfume odor coming out of the box. Upon unboxing the phone I realised that the internal packaging and the phone itself seem to have been strongly scented with perfume. I suppose the manufacturer decided to do this because the phone "is pink"? The problem is that I am very sensitive to smells. I avoid artificial fragrances as they give me headaches. So now I cannot even handle my new phone without being hit with this perfume smell. As the back surface of the phone resembles a kind of matte suede, I cannot simply wipe the phone down with an alcohol swab to remove the smell. There is no way to get the smell off. This has totally ruined the experience of buying a new phone as I don't even want to touch it. Review of MOTOROLA Edge 50 Fusion - 256 GB Forest Blue
5 August 2024

Excellent phone. Was really easy to clone all apps and settings from my previous phone. It' great in use and a good upgrade from the previous one. Too much annoying AI, but I've managed to disable most of that. Display quality is excellent, the screen surface is very resistant to fingerprints, good battery life, fast charging. Waterproofing is good, although I have no wish to put that to the test! Recommended.

Superb phone in every aspect
26 November 2024

I've had this phone for about a week and I've got to say that I love it. I used to have a Huawei p30 pro a few years ago, which was fantastic and this phone reminds me of that quote a lot, and that was a flagship phone. I've just switched from an iPhone 12 pro max and ir really hated it (sorry Apple, but your phones really are based on a lot of hype). This phone is smoother and so much less clunky. It's got a lovely design and the girls glass had a very nice 'glide' feel to the touch. The phone has a luxury feel to it all round, I would recommend purchasing a 'grippy' phone case however, as the one provided, although very nice, gives the feeling that it may not protect the phone too well if dropped. Not many phones these days come with a case on purchase, however so you can't really complain. On another positive note, the usb charging connection point is the sturdiest I've experienced and the charger too feels rugged. The phone charges quickly and lasts for ages. Cameras are very good, although I haven't had too much chance to use them yet, but although there's no telescopic function, the quality seems better than my iPhone 12 pro max. The processor seems excellent and using the phone for browsing, email etc it's very smooth and quick. So, those is the first timer I've been compelled to write a phone review, however I have to congratulate Motorola on an excellent product at a very good price, which these days is a very rare find.
