A handy mobile with AI features

originally posted on noon.com/saudi-en/

I bought Edge 50 ultra from noon on 11.11 sale at 2400 SAR. I have used it for a week its AI features have improved a lot. In the box i received mobile set, 125W charger, c-c charging cable & back cover. The mobile came without any pre applied screen protector.Observed some minor bugs in start for once while setting initial finger print security however didn't experience as of now. One feature that I miss from my last phone is always on display, it should have been provided by Motorola. Camera is excellent 👌🏻 and the battery life, display and sound is good 👍🏻.

This is one of the worst pieces of technology i have ever used. It is unresponsive , slow and freezes upon carrying out the most simplest of tasks. Restarts for no reason and most times can't answer calls because of the unresponsive. Poor Quality and will not be purchasing motorola again

Good phone
18 June 2024

The Moto Edge 50 Ultra features a sleek and modern design, with a glass front and back coupled with an aluminum frame. It feels premium in hand, with curved edges that enhance grip and comfort. The device is relatively slim and lightweight, making it easy to handle despite its large screen size.

Great feature set

very good camera, great screen, fast processor. It has the nice Motorola quirks of the twist camera launch and the light gesture. Huge 1Tb storage is awesome. Only weakpoint is smallish battery, but it comes with a very fast 125W charger and goes from 20%-80% in minutes. We have 2 now, replacing Pixel 7pro and mot edge 20pro

The phone unlocks instantly. The Google assistant has a mind of its own, it also it quite unresponsive.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra

Having owned a lot of smartphones this one ranks as 1 of the best. Screen is excellent, battery life is very good and charging is super quick. My only small gripe is there are 1 or 2 software issues which will hopefully be sorted in a future update and are not a deal breaker by any stretch.

High quality build phone with excellent performance, very good camera, good battery life and lightning fast charging.Operating system is clean with no junk or spam apps installed, pretty much like a pixel (with a few extra features such as super intuitive gestures)Overall very happy with the purchase.

Utterly unfit for purpose
8 February 2022

Motorola, you should be ashamed of yourself for putting such an unresponsive, incapable, unfit for purpose phone on the market. One that can take well over a minute to open the camera app, one that decides when I can answer calls or not, one that frequently cannot carry out the simplest of tasks like typing an address into a browser. It has been frankly embarrassing to own this phone in situations I've needed to use it immediately. I've tolerated it until now but today I've missed a telephone medical appointment because the unresponsive screen wouldn't allow me to take the call. From reading others' reviews, I'm clearly not alone. I used to be a huge fan but, never again if this is the quality you're now putting on the market.
