I was quite happy with my Moto G4 Plus, but wish it had NFC capability for Google Pay and even an accelerometer. My new Moto G50 has all of this and more. I even got 5G in central Norwich recently, not thst I'm likely to use it much. Great screen and camera. Took a little fiddling to get everything set up the way I like it, but very pleased. Battery life is excellent and seems to last days. I bought a new powerful 30W QC3 charger and an extra long USB-C cable, so now I'm all set. Its big screen means it's almost a phablet. I've even started paying for shopping with Google Pay - very easy. Great value for money. I moved my 16GB Micro SD card from my old phone for extra storage and I might even invest in a 512GB card at some point. Buy one, you won't regret it.

Great upgrade from my previous Moto G8 Power. This retains the excellent battery life I've been used to and adds NFC for contactless payments, and 5G in my area is available and fast. The 90hz screen is noticeably smoother than I'm used to and I picked up the phone in the Black Friday reductions so it was a bargain.Very happy customer.

I have not used this phone yet but I assume that it is like my old Moto G6 ie a great phone that does everything that I need in a mobile phone. I'm not a fabn of internet on phones - screens are a bit small for my liking but textx & phone calls are so easy. I love the aqua green colour and overall feel of the phone. I'm sure that it will not disappoint.

On the whole, ok. New wireless chip "reaches the parts that the other chip couldn't reach". My G7 c2019 could not get phone or mobi-inet on my street or in my front room. I had to go upstairs to the loft. In shops/cafes/bars on my street, SOL. This G50 now has connectivity in all these places: same service provider, same sim-card, just phone upgrade. But Android 11 is still klunky. Oh well.
I used it for a week now. Screen and colour is top wack, bright and colourful. Video is unbeatable resolution. Ample space in camera.taking picture is so sharp. What did you expect with 48 megapixels. G50 is out there amongst the top high quality smartphones. It even have 5G but it's not expensive.Anffordable top quality phone this is. The phone is not easy to navigate. One week later, I'm still struggling navigating my way on the phone. Navigation indicators hardly show up to guide. Another method of navigation is there but difficult to set up.
Good Points: For the price, it's unbeatable. On-line tech reviews criticised it's display, citing it being built to budget rather than to high specification. I'm glad I ignored them as it is clear sharp and bright. Not as heavy as I was expecting, despite the screen size and I love the Moto Android software, which beats my old Samsung hands down. 5g and Android 11 installed. What else could you wish for?Improvement Points: Whilst it has dual sim capability, the 2nd is at sacrificing inserting a memory card. Other than that, it is perfect.
Good Points: This is my second Motorola having had the play before. Very good battery life,clear screen,well made and easy to use.Value for money and a good basic phone with 5g capability.Worth the moneyImprovement Points: Getting used to Android 11 quite different to 8 on its predecessor.Other than that pretty good.
