I don't want a lot from a smart phone, certainly don't game on one, and I'm not a fan of being forced to upgrade because a manufacturer stops releasing updates. That's why this is the is the third time I've bought a low- to mid-range Motorola. The G22 is definitely on the low end, but I'm not complaining at this price. Online reviews were accurate regards display quality: low res by current standards, auto brightness is too dim and doesn't seem to learn. On the plus side, they were also right about the battery life: I get a few hours of actual use a day (video, music, social stuff, bluetooth headphones/ helmet speakers) and charging it every other day is fine. No ragrets.

Awesome Motorola G22

The features of this phone are fantastic, especially the specifications of the camera. The phone is very user friendly and can be used by young and older people. I will definitely be getting another one for my Son.

Cheap phone

I bought this phone to run the application needed to access my work computer. It is perfect for that. But it is considerably slower than my main phone (4 years old galaxy note 9 with android 10), the initial setup needed to be restarted several times and the loud spekers are like from the 90s.

Good for the price but...

I bought this phone because I broke the screen on my Motorola G30 that I have had for close to two years. My Motorola G30 is superior in processing power which the G22 is lacking. A slight lag is noticeable when unlocking the screen and switching between apps. I notice it more when I am toggling between GPS and messaging app.It's still a stylish phone and I have had comments from S9 and iPhone owners say my phone looks very expensive.

Great phone for what i need

I am using this phone as a work phone so only calls and messages. If i were using it for anything else i would nit be happy. It does lag and take a while to catch up when going in using different apps. Even when i am scrolling through contacts it does this. Has some pretty cool features for example you can record your calls wothout downloading extra apps.

Half decent phone but Motorola need to improve

It's a half decent phone, decent size, decent storage, good battery, the biggest issues I have is the UI, it's just way too plain, it's not very clean, it's not very customizable it's also pretty slow, I currently use a Zenfone 5 and it's UI is much nicer and cleaner, and it's fairly fastApart from the UI being ugly, and not very customizable it's okish

Ideal for basic use

If you want a basic affordable smart phone, this is it!Performance wise it can be a bit sluggish and at times have a momentary freeze.Sometimes the screen resolution defaults to low settings by itself which can be annoying.Basic camera abilities, not ideal for photography enthusiasts.Battery life is actually decent.

Review of phone.

This phone uses Android, Motorola and Google, seems like they fight each other as well as various other apps that are installed which use cookies and intrusive behaviours to attempt to access personal data, information and intellectual property. Overkill as well as this being another sentence to make it a 'quality insight'.

Well priced and attractive phone.

A good solid smartphone with all the expected functions - at a very favourable price. Not my first Motorola, and I am pretty sure it won't be the last. The graphics and sound quality are good, and indeed a pleasant surprise at the price. All in all a great deal, and a well satisfied customer.
