My personal experience with the moto tag has been 100% disappointment. I've tested the tag with 3 phones, all Find My Device enabled. 2 Motorola 1 Nokia. One Motorola is paired with the tag. I've set the other two to "With network in all areas". BT and data enabled. Tested with multiple scenarios in multiple locations (inc. busy bars) over a period of two weeks. The tag has been set to both lost and not lost. The only time the tag can be seen is when it's next to the paired device. Is this a FMD network issue or a tag issue. Who knows but at the time of writing, I don't believe it's not fit for purpose.

If I could rate this any less than 1 star then I would. This product is absolutely useless and does not work as described. I can find an item within the range of Bluetooth but it doesn't ping of any other phones and update it's location.

Delighted to see a. Alternative to the other tag tracking devices. I believe Motorola's tracker in conjunction with find my device will give added peace of mind when travelling, or for that matter at home. I might suggest that when travelling, being a second phone, purchase a local SIM, a d pair up with both phones and tracking devices ...it's often the phone that gets taken, so a back up that connects to normal phone and tracking devices is an added security.

Bitterly disappointed by the Moto tracker - doesn't update! - we live in a populated area and yet it doesn't give any updates - Only works on (very) short range bluetooth from our own phones. I thought we'd be able to use it for luggage tracking or tracking our cat, but it's useless!
Not a happy customer Motorola, on my Samsung 24 plus, Android. The Moto Tag will not even ring my phone. Yes from my phone I it tells me the tag is nearby, but it doesnt update until I open the phone. It doesnt activate the camera as your advert says. Had it for 3 weeks. Personally I think you should be refunding, all those sold, looking at these reviews. At £34 there are better tags out there. Maybe thats why you havent posted my review from last week as I mentioned the other tags by name. I wouldn't trust it to find something I lost, that isnt in bluetooth range. It would be nice if we all had a response from yourselves.
I've used other trackers before for Android phones and have not been impressed but the Moto Tags are awesome.Easy to setup and use. Tracking on Google Find My network is good and the UWB allows for precision when list.Would highly recommend for anyone with an Android phone that supports UWB.
Bought this to see how the android find my device network worked, its currently useless, only works when your phone is within range of the tag, if the tag goes out of range of your phone you can't find it. I understand that this is because of the way the android find my device network is currently configured and not the fault of Motorola, but all the same it's currently useless. Maybe Google will change the default settings of phones so that they report the tag location soon......
Pretty much useless. Google find my device doesn't work very well, so to find the tag you have to rely on Bluetooth and sound. The Bluetooth range is poor, and the sound (even on the loudest setting) is a pathetic little beep which you won't here from more than a few meters.
Useless given the privacy policy of Android network. I ordered a Moto tag to test the device and network. I travelled with Moto tag though a densely populated city and it didn't pick up any location. The last known location is still my home where I had it connected to my phone. I understand that the problem is not on the Motorola hardware but why did you release something that work only in theory and in practice is useless?
Bought this product Mid October and the battery ran low in November. Replaced the battery with a new one and that now shows a Low battery life. 4 to 6 weeks battery life doesn't make it much use unless that gets resolved. Other than that it's not bad - but with android location services not being mandatory as 'always on' there may not be enough people using find my device for this to be much use (an Andorid problem/decision)
