Excellent build quality, versatility, nice feel stretchy fabric, dries quickly, accepts decent width belt with sufficient belt loops too. I’m on the stout side and found the 38 waist spot on, but leg length almost to my knees! Stylish cut and finish compared to others I tried in store.

Bought first pair of these and within maybe 4 wears noticed the fabric failing where it touches rubs my front thigh during normal wear. The fabric gathered on both legs and went hard in patches sort of like it was affected by heat. Thinking it was a one off, I had an in store exchange done as well bought a new pair online because I like the way they fit and function. I haven't received the exchange yet, but the online 2nd pair has done the same thing after maybe 4 wears. The fabric pills underneath, then gathers and hardens across the top surface. I guess most people think this is acceptable, which for trail hiking it would be in a daggy sort of way, however it makes them very shabby for general wear around town. Good light shorts with great zip pockets. When it arrived the stitching was messy and needed to be cleaned up from lose ends especially considering I purchased this on sale at over $70 let alone if I were to buy at full price. Comfortable to wear. Button feels a bit lose but does it's job
Comfortable, lightweight and quick drying. These are perfect for pretty much every outdoor activity. Good fit and size. Would definitely recommend.
I searched for good hiking shorts for months. Anaconda held the best value and brand Mountain Design Mission Multi II shorts that blew away the competition at size range, quality and best of all, price
Shorts are great but sizing was not. I'm a 32 in all pants. I ordered 34 as I wanted a loose fit. They just fit!
Super comfortable shorts that wick away the sweat and make the hike that much more comfortable. My third pair and they will be tested walking Mt Bartle Frere in the next couple of weeks.
I LOVE Mountain Designs and own heaps of their gear, however, I was disappointed with these shorts. They were very, very lightweight. Too lightweight for me and the types of 'Mission' I regularly get up to. And I live in the tropics. They felt like lightweight, elastic boardies with pockets. They don't have a built in belt but lots of pockets that when loaded up, pulled the shorts down.
Very comfortable, I now have 4 pairs of these, and I love them.Elastic in the back half of the waistband is great.
