Excellent jacket. Fits as described. Only one minor problem. The zipper is on the other side not standard like US zippers for men. But that’s a minor detail so I can live with it.

For now it is very much waterproof. I got a large and it fits but is definitely a tighter cut, not a ton of extra room but it does fit. I am a large in most other shirts and coats.

Wore this up Snowdon at the end of Jan 2024. Plenty warm when coupled with a t-shirt and fleece underneath. Great at stopping wind from reducing temperature. Underarm zips help with ventilation. Zip pockets open easily to get at snack bars and your mobile phone. Draw cords on hood helped the hood prevent my peaked beanie from flying away. You probably want a cap or peaked beanie under the hood as there's no wire to help it keep it's shape. All in all, very pleased.
Purchase waterproof jacket for my husband, who put it to the test on a long walk at the weekend ( and yes it rained!) Needless to say the jacket was very waterproof, he's really pleased with it 😀
Good fit with enough room for fleece gilet etc. Seems durable and robust.
