Moza CS V2 Black Steering Wheel PC Hardware/Electronic

I bought this to upgrade my ES wheel from the R5 bundle. I can say that it performs perfect with almost no loss of force feedback. Buttons and shifters are excellent feeling for the price. Just make sure you buy the CS V2 for the R5 base and you are set. Handy stickers as well to personalize your buttons/layout if that is your thing. Hands down, for the cost its an excellent wheel with good features. Just wish Microcenter sold the ES Formula wheel mod and the srp-lite brake kit. Thank you Microcenter for shipping it fast!

I’ve been using this wheel for about 5 months now with a Moza R5. My former wheel was the Moza ES which is about 2 inches smaller and, overall, had more of a controller feel versus a real car wheel. I suggest getting the ES formula wheel upgrade for $40 to make sure that sweet little ES wheel into a formula/GT wheel…easily the easiest and coolest upgrade for it and ensures that thing doesn’t gather dust. The Moza CS V2 delivers that little extra bit of realism.As the title suggests, the feel and look of the wheel are premium down to the buttons. In 5 months the joy sticks have no extra travel or drift(of course they don’t get used as much as other joysticks but good construction overall). The RPM bar is completely customizable with all ranges of LED colors to meet your taste and needs. Moza Pit House software makes programming everything pretty easy and should recognize the wheel without fuss. (*see below) Do I even need to mention the quick release?A few things to consider: this wheel is heavier and larger than the ES that comes standard with the R5 bundle. With a heavier wheel and only 5 nm of torque (and even to an extent with the 9 nm if the R9) you will start to lose out on some of the low and high frequencies of force feedback you would get with the smaller and lighter wheel. If you like heavy force feedback that’s provided with the 11 inch ES wheel and R5 you will find the same 100% FFB to be a bit dull on first uses. If you’re like me and stick to rally and drift you should feel right at home.There are some button shifting functions you can use with the wheel that are probably my only real gripe as they are implemented poorly. In the 5 months of use I can safely say I have not used any of the button-shift features inside of pit house.*If you’re buying for an R5 make sure this is the V2 version of the wheel as the V1 wheel only works wirelessly R9 and above. The only difference is the V2 has the pins that allow for a physical connection between the R5 and the Wheel.This shouldn’t be an issue but I did see V1s in stock at my local Micro Center for a time before I purchased mine. Just something to watch out for.
