Fantastic for the price, I was impressed by how strong the force feedback is for how extremely small it is - it does get rather hot but according to Moza this is perfectly fine. The quick release system is fantastic as it uses the industry standard NRG style so you can use any aftermarket wheel and NRG quick release you'd like (although you wouldn't get any button support on those wheels).

Got this for drifting, upgrading from a T300. I’ve had great experiences with all Moza gear and no exception for this R9 base. Love the pit house software, force feedback strength and ease of use.Definitely more powerful and immersive than the R5.

Then after about 15 minutes of use in session on Assetto (or any game), the force feedback would lessen exponentially. I tried resetting the base, which would get me another 10-15 minutes of FFB and it would go soft again. My research shows me that there was something that happened with production in March. The admins on the Moza Discord channel say that's a myth, but it was certainly the case for me.Long story short: Don't wait too long to install this. I'd even advocate for the 2-year Microcenter warranty. My replacement has been great, and working without issue.I'm giving it 4 stars ... Bought it 2 times and it stopped working propperly within 24h each.I also had contact with the support but they couldn't help me so I had to send it back. The first time (back then it was a Moza R9 V1) the ffb just stopped after driving and didn't come back for hours and the 2nd time (This time the Moza R9 V2) the driveshaft slipped which means i started the race with a centered wheel and ended it with a 40° turned wheel in a direction.It was both times a issue of the base or the software coming with it. All things I could do to recover the base were done but it didn't help both times.I leant my lession and now I am waiting for my DD2 to arrive
Bought the R9 and slowing started to increase the power on it over a couple weeks, once I hit 100% it couldn't handle it and dropped the FFB down to almost nothing.Contacted Moza, took 7 days for them to respond.If you purchase this also purchase the Microcenter in store service, do not count on Moza.I ended up getting the Moza R16 and run it far less than 100%
I enjoy the R9. The force feedback is enough for me. I have never used any wheel base before though.The issue I have is that every time I turn it on, it's in upgrade mode and I have to download the latest firmware, even if I have the latest firmware.
Tremendous improvement over my Thrustmaster TMX. If you are serious about sim racing and are thinking about upgrading to a direct drive, the R9 is enough torque and affordable for most devoted sim racers. It is worth the investment. My IR has nearly doubled in the one month since I upgraded.
Excellent. Affordable, powerful 9nm. All metal casing. Quality build. Software works great, customizable.
