Followed all the instructions plus extra - (cold conditioning for 2 weeks in freezer) - bring up to temp - all the right location/moisture. Only one seed germinated.
"Chilling seeds before sowing can improve germination" should be in larger font and together with a suggested length of time for chilling.4 germinations from the 12 seeds supplied, NO SPARES.They could have supplied half a dozen spares just in case.
I have bought two of these. Followed the instructions and have had wonderful success. I place two seeds in each pod and place them near a north facing window plus keep them well watered. Have also used them for sewing other strawberry seeds.
I sowed these seeds in this kit months ago, but so far only 2 of the 12 seeds have sprouted and they are still too tiny to put up. They really really slowly. It would be better to buy some seedlings, than to try to grow from seeds.
Bought a few weeks ago, 3 of the 12 have germinated. Thought it was something I did until I saw the other reviews.

Hard to germinate and only got 14 seeds, need some spares
I have spent over $3,500 in Bunnings during lockdown, but this product was a total waste of money. Only 15 seeds included and not one germinated. Not happy Jan!!!
I have little strawberries showing up in the pods. Great start to summer plants waiting for the grandies to come & pick the fruit
