Cheap and cheerful motherboard, very basic but functional.Box said Ryzen 5000 compatible, but did not work with a Ryzen 5 5600G.Only compatible BIOS is a beta BIOS.Therefore I swapped CPU's with another system I have. The 5600G fitted straight in to my Asus board as a compatible BIOS has been out a while.MSI need to be quicker with their BIOS updates.

I read that this motherboard was compatible with the 5600G that I bough with a bios update but that part was a nightmare. If you are using AMD 5000 series with a integrate video processor (Serie G) the motherboard will not post because the bios version E7C96AMS.260 (12/13/2021) is not able to recognized this graphic processor and the light will stay on saying CPU error on the board. I do not know if the series 5000 whiteout the integrate graphic will have work but I assume that it won't. To update the bios your ONLY options is to use a CPU series 3000 but again be carful, not all 3000 is supported. For myself I hopefully had a 3600 laying around so I was able to installed bios version E7C96AMS.260 (12/13/2021). With this bios version my 5600G was able to post after what have look like an eternity at the first boot (and yes that is completely normal). So overall, make yourself a big favor by buying a better motherboard if you wanna go with AMD 5000 series. Buy one with a Q-flash bottom if you don't want to be stock like me. For a 3000 series I suppose this motherboard is just fine for the price.

Good MB for the budget but the my GPU does not allows me to connect the frontal usb cables as that slot is too close to the PCIe slot for GPU, it's literally impossible to connect them without getting my case cables interfering or getting in the GPU fans, that is so annoying even tho my GPU is an RTX 3070 MSI Venus 2x and that is not what you would call a big chungus card. that's the reason why i'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4, I'm not able to connect any usb ports cables on that slot anymore unless i change my gpu, and considering the times of shortages we are experiencing, that's not gonna happen in at least 3 years.

I had a hard time finding the m2 screws, it was in a smaller litle bag Other than that no problems with the actual motherboard.
I was originally unable to power down without holding down the power button! Windows is unable to put a machine with this motherboard to sleep. I thought it was an issue when the installer stalled for an hour but it was because the motherboard refused to power down in order to restart. This problem persisted after installation where a windows shutdown does not power down the machine. I am incredibly frustrated by this purchase. I’ve updated the motherboard bios, double checked my header pins and windows configuration it’s definitely an issue with the motherboard itself. Update: Using the beta version of the bios fixed my issue
I get it, it is a cheap MOBO, having said that it works as advertised just not for me or my builds. If you need a good replacement MOBO this is a great place to start. Just FYI it came with the newest BIOS update to support the new Ryzen CPU's.
Works exactly as you would expect. But there are who that's that I am disappointed about: Since the pcie slot is the 2nd slot on this board, larger GPUs will interfere with the front panel USB 3 connection. There are only two fan connections. One cpu and one system
