Thankyou CCL. This comment is no so much about the product, it's more about the service and value for money. But, briefly, the product is fine. It's not the top of the line but it fits fine for me. I play games that are, arguably, old. It runs fallout 4 perfectly at 3k ultra. I've not tried Cyberpunk again yet, but that is for other reasons not related to technical details. The card is fine, given today's price vs performance vs availability. We all know that tech times are crazy at the moment. Long story short, I am satisfied with the card - it meets my needs. Now, back to CCL. You have always had, in my opinion, high standards. You have items in stock and deliver quickly. Thankyou. SCAN had this GPU that I was after while no one else did. Extremely quick delivery, arrived next day! Which is more than what could be said for Amazon, who took a fortnight to deliver the RAM. So when I'm next in a hurry to build a PC, I'll be going with SCAN rather than saving a few quid! The GPU was practically plug-and-play using Linux Mint XFCE. Some people say AMD is better for Linux 'cause of the open-source drivers, but I have no complaints with running Steam games and a quick test with Blender so far. A great companion for Ryzen 3900x.

for the price you can't beat this card if you want higher then 1080p you need to spend a lot more cash. this does 1440p with everything set to low if you have the CPU and at least 32gbs of ram in your PC to run it in 1440p mode it pushes 100 percent of the card but stays quiet displayport is better you will get extra frames you can't get from HDMI. 12gbs in the card is awesome when the 3060ti only has 8gbs that's why i went with this card instead of the ti version. I play a lot od destiny 2 and ran Bioshock remake last night and Bright memory Infinite without any problems. Bright memory is the only game i have with raytracing and it performed like a champ

I bought this GPU for my group's scientific workstation in order to prototype CUDA code. I didn't expect to actually use it for scientific computing because of the GeForce line's deliberately crippled double-precision compute, but it actually works amazingly well! My code is 10x faster on this GPU than it is on the CPU, and it's even faster than on the university cluster, which has Nvidia P100's. I'm so glad I got the version with 12 GB.For some reason, I can't install CUDA 11.8 with driver version 520 on Ubuntu with this graphics card. When I do, I get a black screen. But CUDA 11.7 with driver version 515 works perfectly fine, so that's what I'm using.
Coming from somebody who previously owned a GTX 1080, this generation of GPUs from Nvidia is definitely worth the wait. RTX 30 series cards no longer barely raise the bar over the legendary GTX 10 series classics, they have ultimately defined the next generation of graphics computing for everyone by placing that bar higher than ever before. The 3060, while not much different than the 1080, has features that one can't ignore when choosing a new GPU. DLSS and RTX computing cores, plus the added bonus of 12GB of VRAM compared to 8GB, change the game completely compared to my old card. Having the ability for optional ray tracing and a total performance boost in some games is great to have, and I am very satisfied with the performance of the 3060. My only complaints is ... MoreComing from somebody who previously owned a GTX 1080, this generation of GPUs from Nvidia is definitely worth the wait. My only complaints is the slight price hike and loudness of the fans on the MSI installed cooler, but I understand that this is due to the current GPU market and spec of the card.
This card looks great in my opinion. The RTX 3060 from Nvidia is a really great entry-level graphics card that supports Ray Tracing and DLSS. Both new technologies are used to improve game play in a lot of supported game titles. This card is really good and I use it in my personal system. It works great with no issues. I installed the necessary Nvidia Game Ready drivers from Geforce Experience and was ready to go. The 3060 was enough for my gaming needs and also can live stream quite nice. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I am happy to have had the chance to buy this card. I know this shortage is bad, and it took me 5 months of trying, but I got it in the end. Don't give up, your chance will come soon.
Works great without any issues in system: GigaByte Z690 Aero G DDR4; Windows 11. Doing mostly video editing. Stable with +190MHz Core OC and +900MHz Memory OC, core voltage 100% (using MSI AfterBurner). Running Unigine Heaven Benchmark: Ultra Quality, 8x Anti-aliasing, approx 70 to 120 FPS depending on scene; approx 60 degC at 100% fans. Using FanControl by Rem0o to control fans. Small size card; plenty of room to fit into case (Corsair 4000D Airflow).
I was really torn between this and a different 3060TI with less built-in memory. Ultimately I chose this one because any 3D modeling would benefit from the ram for rendering (& because I liked the 3-fan look - even I have a soft spot for aesthetics)The fans run super quietly, and I've not had any temperature issues with it at all despite throwing Elden Ring at max settings at it.For those who like RGB, this has none, best as I can tell. But I was going for a sleek Blake & White design for my build, so that's perfect as far as I'm concerned.
This card has been running like a champ and has met all my expectations. It's a vast improvement over my 1660 Super OC edition. It made a massive difference on MS Flight Sim. I haven't tried w/ VR so I can't speak to that. Would recommend. This particular 3060 seems like a good value among the 3060 variants as well. No RGB, but looks tough. Consider a card support for sag on a horizontal setup (if you're OCD like me).
I built my PC during the pandemic with a bunch of parts that I had laying around since new prices on hardware were way over retail price. This year I bit the bullet and decided to perform a much needed upgrade, an Intel 6500k to a 12700k and AMD RX 570 to this Nvidia RTX 3060. I got the graphics card and motherboard in store, and had to wait 4 days for the CPU to come in. I was curious to see how the 3060 would perform in my old system so I popped it in, and after launching a game it played for 5 minutes and then crashed. I thought that was weird so I tried every single Nvidia driver version and still got crashes. After that didn’t work, I put off troubleshooting until I installed the new CPU and motherboard, and after doing that the issues persisted. I thought that was weird so I tried every single Nvidia driver version and still got crashes. After that didn’t work, I put off troubleshooting until I installed the new CPU and motherboard, and after doing that the issues persisted. I tried a clean Windows install, a bunch of different driver versions (again), installing a more powerful PSU, and undervolting/underclocking the card in MSI Afterburner, but nothing worked. I did some more research and there’s a decent amount of people having similar issues with factory overclocked 30-series cards, but have fixed it by undervolting/underclocking the card. After this headache, I just ended up returning this and swapping it out with an XFX SWFT 309 6700XT and have had no issues whatsoever. I’ve been using AMD cards for around 10 years with no issues and it sucks that my first experience with an Nvidia card went this poorly, and I’m not sure if I’d buy one again.
