MSI Mag 345CQR 34" UWQHD 180Hz Curved Gaming Monitor

Spent hours trying to adjust the screen for my xbox series x and pc with this monitor both looked stretched out of proportion. When set to auto instead of 21:9 the monitor would shrink to a 30inch screen to look normal on both devices . Change setting on xbox and in pc didnt matter monitor still looked horrible on 21:9. Not to mention absolutely no manual or instructions to navigate through the settings menues. Why buy a 34” curved monitor when your only able to use it in 30” screen settings. Never had this issue with my older 34” 1000R curved monitor.

I decided to go big on a monitor to avoid two separate screens as my desk is just small. This MSI MAG 345CQR did not disappoint as it's wide enough for me to have several windows open at once. Great for working on spreadsheets, email, and documents all at once in just one big picture. I have had no functional issues with this monitor, picture quality is so much better than the tv screens I had been using. I also don't have any issues with the viewing angles even when I stand off to the side, I can still see what's on the monitor just fine. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to go ultrawide with this VA panel.

I wanted to upgrade a Samsung 1800R curved monitor and had a few different ones on my short list. I was apprehensive about going with not only an ultrawide monitor, but also a 1000R curved screen as i thought it would be primarily for gaming which i do very little of. However, i purchased this mknitor and I’m very pleased with it. Great screen image, multiple levels of settings, screen refresh rate is excellent, barely notice the 1000R curvature while using the monitor, and the extra width helps while multitasking with more than one open window. The only thing im slightly disappointed in is the HDR. Maybe my opinion will differ if im doing some gaming, but for streaming content or general tasks on the computer, i do get better image quality leaving HDR off on the monitor and on Windows.
