Works good, specially if you own a 40 series gpu. Enough plugs, power etc.My one major complaint is the motherboard cable, the end that plugs into the psu, is wired oddly. I had to peel the two plugs from each other as yhe wiring seems flipped where the port for the left plug is on the right and vice versa. Not a deal breaker but makes the wiring look terrible.MSI will not acknowledge this as a quality issue.

Excellent power supply. Comes with plenty of cables, enough for modern motherboards and graphics cards. Also has a cable for converting the pci-e 16 pin to two 8 pins, which will cover nearly all graphics card scenarios for those needing 3-4 cables for their cards. Cables are sturdy but pliable enough to make it work around tight spaces. Highly recommended.

Excellent PSU, I have been using this for awhile now, over a few months with my 4090. I have zero melting issues. Yes the cable is stiff and can be tricky, just try your best to not let it bend until it absolutely has to. Gives me all the power I need for my 12900k and 4090. Comparing this to other products like Thermaltake. MSI has better pricing by about $15-$20 for the same power. The only 1 star loss is because MSI seems to be messing up on the cables it provides in the box to some. My original purchase didn't even have the right power cable (literally wouldn't even fit to the PSU) so I returned for a new one. The new one came with everything I needed, no mess ups. I also read on here someone didn't even get the Gen 5 cable in there box.
Purchased this PSU from Best Buy 1/21/23 Came with all cables and package content it was supposed to as I have read other reviews stating that they were missing the 600watt pic-e 5.0 cable mine was included so no issue there. Easy installation just as my previous psu from MSI and the flat tables worked great although a bit stiffer than I would like still are much better than my old beaded cables. I bought this psu for the 4090 I purchases and have had no issues with this psu or cables to date a very good experience and great product would recommend.
Purchased online and had it shipped to my house. Delivery was quick and the packaging was adequate. The PSU was silent and ran the 4090 with no issues. Package did include a braided 12VHPWR, PCle (16 PIN to 16 PIN) 600W cable. For the price, I was disappointed in the quality of the rest of the cables that weren’t braided. I ended up returning because the 12VHPWR cable was too short to aesthetically reach the psu in the fractal torrent case. I ended up going with the seasonic vertex and have to admit, all cables were higher quality and I didn’t have to compromise wiring aesthetics to reach the psu. Overall, I would recommend this product, it just didn’t work for my setup.
Like all the other reviews mentioned, the cables are quite stiff and just barely long enough to route the 24pin and 8pin cpu in the lancool 216. Otherwise, its a decent 1000w psu with atx3.0 features. Price is pretty similar to other brands at $200 for a 1000w atx3.0 gold rated psu. The real test i longevity. My seasonics are 10+ years in and still working.
I had a little bit of an issue when building my next pc with the 4090. My pc would reboot when I'm gaming with my old EVGA 1K P+. I decided to try the Thermaltake 1650W Toughpower but had issues with that as well. Same problems so I decided to take a chance on this and so far so good.It also comes with the 16 HPWR cable too.I love how compact it is and it makes it a whole lot easier to install trhe cables inside the 011 Evo. There isn't much room back there and I struggled with the cables on the EVGA psu as it was slightly too big.I love the psu but I hate the cables, yuck. Thjey are using that nasty plastic cables that Corsair also uses. When Cablemod is open again and letting people order, I'm replacing these hideous cables,
Works great with 4090 series cards. Word of advise to any who buy it. I tried to use my old power supplies cpu cable / sata power adapters. Computer wouldnt boot. Swapped cables with the ones this came with and it worked perfect. Apparently even though they look identical, internally they are not. Hope this helps someone ! Dont be lazy like I was. Use all the cables provided !
My prior PSU failed randomly (not surprising since it was cheaply made) so I immediately went to Best Buy to find a quality one. I ended up with this bad boy and let me tell you - this PSU has exceeded my expectations. Just by swapping to this PSU, my PC makes literally zero noise to the point that I forget it's on! It also has a zero fan feature that allows the PSU to regulate itself based on temperature I believe. I run a 12900KF and 3080 and it powers my motherboard/parts flawlessly. Would definitely recommend, and I now have my PSU for the future if I decide to upgrade anything later down the line.
