The GPU shortage had me looking into different options and when I saw this one available, I didn't hesitate to purchase it for a rig. The specs on this thing make it quite the powerhouse for gaming and even doing a bunch of editing/3d work. Would much rather have bought for MSRP, and would consider purchasing this same card for another build.

Right now with all of the inflated GPU prices, buying this card is a no brainer. It performs very well on a level between an RTX 2060 TI and an RTX 2070. Benchmarks don't lie. I am very happy with this card but I would only buy MSI Gaming X because it outperforms all other AMD 6700 XT cards when you do the math,

So, obvious stuff aside, this little card is nothing short of amazing so far. It has crushed Horizon Zero Dawn, Division 2 at and Destiny 2 at 4K60 (monitors limitations) despite it being meant for 1440p. Can get a little warm at those resolutions and I myself sometimes drop down to 1440p for both better thermals and higher frames. If you want raytracing though, look elsewhere, even higher up the ladder in AMD cards but other guys Def have it here. For any 5700CT owners, it is def worth the upgrade if only for better thermals overall at both 1440p and 4K.

What can I say, I read and watched countless reviews online for 2 years during the pandemic waiting for GPU prices to flex even a little bit. Found an open box item and pulled the trigger. There are no surprises with the 6700 XT, everything you need to know for performance numbers you can find online. AMD continues to add value to it's product lineup (even previous generations) through driver updates and ultimately that's what drove my choice. 10/10 will buy a graphics card again. ;-)
I was skeptical, but it is significantly faster than by Red Devil Vega 64 that it replaces. I would say around 40% in most instances despite having far fewer cores. It is also a lot quieter and doesn't sound like a turbine whilst gaming. The price though at over £700 was horrific, however second hand prices are high which meant the upgrade cost was only about £150. To replace an existing graphics card I think it was a good deal, however for a new build computer with nothing to offset the inflated costs at present I wouldn't be able to recommend. Hence I've restricted it to four stars.
This Gpu is something that is jsut hard to come by in a regular day going into a store. Lucky me i had the last one in stock in the store for a latest gen AMD gpu. I used it for half a month already and for me the difference for me is astronomical. I dont know how to acuratly grade it because i used a chromebook from 4 years ago for work, and school, and a ps4 for games but i can at least tell that that the gpu in my system is great for everything I throw at it. The price is a little bit more higher than the msrp but currently in this world situation and the market situation i just say i bought it at the right time.
This is a little expensive since these cards were supposed to cost $480 before tariffs, but still a great card. Great for 1080p high refresh, 1440p, and even 4k gaming due to the 12gb of vram. Similar levels of performance to the RTX 3070 +/- 5% average depending on the game. These cards seem to be more in stock than any other card right now and you may be able to pick them up later in the day, unlike RTX cards. Overall a strong competitor to RTX cards, although each have their strengths. If you’re looking to buy a 3070 but can’t seem to get one, this is a great alternative giving similar levels of performance at the same price point, and depending on what games and resolution you play on, this may even be a better option.
For a 1440p card, this is great (for an MSRP price). Its performance hits well into the 100+ FPS in Esports titles and single player and multiplayer games. Ray tracing performance is not that good though. The massive hit in FPS just makes you want to disable the feature entirely on games that offer it. As your frame rate will drop to around 30 depending on the settings.
While this card can technically do 4k. The performance isn’t quite up to par to do it for gaming at least on ultra settings, i only like to play games on ultra. However the 1440p and below performance is great. I can lock it at 120fps on ultra setting all day long, without ever dipping below.
I was concerned originally about having only 2 fans instead of 3, but after using this card for a few weeks I've found it's not an issue. I never notice fan noise in normal game play, and the GPU temps are fine, as are the temps of my 3 M.2 SSDs and also the chipset - both of which sit under the card. The RGB pairs well with my MSI motherboard. Very happy.
