Muc-Off - Bio Degreaser 500ml

Amazing product - spray it on, give it a scrub with a drivetrain brush and then rinse. You can see the gunk washing off. A very satisfying experience. My only complaint is that you do seem to need to use quite a bit and it's quite expensive - but - the best degreaser that I've tried.

Actually works! But slimy

I had the Muc Off Chain Cleaner before and that wasn't very good. But this actually stripped all the gunk and revealed the silver colour of the cassette and chain. It wasn't just a case of spraying on then rinsing off, you do need to brush a bit. Plus when you've rinsed it off it leaves what feels like a think slime on the parts and on your hands. Not sure what this is or if it's OK to leave on the drivetrain, but you'll need normal detergent or Muc Off bike cleaner to get this off.Love that it's biodegradable as well.

Bike looks new

I have never had my bike sprockets and chain look this good. They look brand new after using this product and it’s super easy to use. I would recommend this to everyone.

Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin

It says on the tin that it's a de-greaser, and to be honest I don't think I could of come up with a better description for a fluid which removes grease from your bicycles components.Operation couldn't be simpler. Just remove the black cap from the tin, direct the nozzle to the item that needs the grease removing, and push the nozzle down. The pressurisation system in the can then propels a stream of de-greasing agent onto the affected part. Simply leave on for a minute or two, then agitate with an old tooth brush before cleaning with clean water. That's pretty much it.Cleaning made simple by the Muc-Off Crew.

Doesn't clean

I know it's supposed to be more friendly to the atmosphere, but it doesn't clean at all. My go to is muc off's yellow spray on drivetrain cleaner and I think it works great. I gave this a try and ended up throwing it in the trash. Wouldn't clean a chain or cassette even when I scrubbed it with a stiff brush and a chain cleaning tool.

Great quality degreaser

Just used this on my new Voodoo Bizango Carbon bike, very happy with it. It turned my dirty chain into a brand new looking one in seconds, it's also very easy to spray and apply. The fact that it's water soluble is extremely helpful, as it's very easy to wash off once you are done.

Not good at all.

I bought this based on the excellent reviews on this site. Its pricey but I was happy to pay this given its write ups. I am sorry to say this degreaser just doesn't do the job. I sprayed the product onto my chain and cassette and waited the specified time on the instructions. I then rinsed it off with clean water & was very disappointed that the muck and grime just didn't wash off. I then gave the bike a full wash hoping this would do the job but it didn't. I've used the degreaser again today & I had the same result with muck and grime not washing off.I have wasted my money on this product it just doesn't work (for me)

Price match!

Great product. But dont forget to tell the the store staff ots cheaper online (if you haven't already done click & collect) as the store i bought from has it for £8.99.Despite this i still prefer to shop in store to as shopping online only is killing the high street. The staff advised me well on each degreaser and what to use to lubricate the chain after.

Quick and easy drivetrain cleaning

Easy to use degreaser spray for regular maintenance of road dust and dirt when you don't need the heavier de-gunking of the Drivetrain Cleaner. Just spray on, agitate the dirt with a brush then rinse off.

This stuff works

I have a new carbon fiber bike with electronic shifting. I was a wee bit concerned getting the electronics wet but I have been using this for about a year and no problems.The muck comes off so easily, I wish I had discovered this earlier. I highly recommend it.
