Muc - Off Wet Lube 120ml

Have used this for a couple of months in a variety of conditions, but mostly wet. I used it on my mountainbike. I guess lubing properties are good. But if you use this offroad your drivetrain will gradually pack up with dirt and grime. Its probably not worse than other wet lubes. But now i have cleaned my drivetrain and will go back to wax-based, rocknroll extreme. That keeps the drivetrain much cleaner, you have to lube a bit more often but its worth it.

is it the perfect lube? nobut it performed well, for 4 hour rides, in most conditions. I've tested in harsh winter conditions with puddles, snow, brutal rain.This lube suits most conditions, for wet summer days to muddy wet rain autumn days, to winter, riding in slush, -11c dry icy. but won’t keep the drive train completely clean, this lube performed ok for every thing I put it trough. will last logner than the dry lube.In hot summer days when the bike stands indoors overnight, the lube gets thicker/ the consistency changes, and the chain does not run as smoothly, and the drive train will be noisier and it will attract more dust, so you need to lube it after each ride or the the next day before the ride.There might be other lubes that perform as well or ... Moreis it the perfect lube? nobut it performed well, for 4 hour rides, in most conditions. Gets sticky and collects dirt, hard to clean

This is probably the worst lube we've used. We were very careful to NOT use too much of this lube. Still, the chains and cassettes on the 3 bikes we used this on got nasty once we went out and rode. All the dirt from the road seems to have stuck to the lube and made it sticky and extremely hard to clean from the components. I will definitely NOT purchase this again.Pro: applicator is nice

Good but requires regular application

Have used Muc-off for years, the wet lube is ideal for MTB or areas where chain is exposed to severe water ingress. The only downside is it requires regular applications, especially after dirty rides but keeps the chain running smoothly despite the wet and grime

Good lube, good price, eco-friendly

I've been using this lube for a couple years, year-round. No complaints! It is just thick enough to make it easy to apply without over-applying, and smells like blueberry candy. It doesn't get sludgy or clog up my drivetrain in my normal riding conditions. I will say it washes off a little more easily than some other wet lubes I've used but my drivetrain stays way cleaner. Give it a shot!

Great

This is my first MucOff product ever, bought wet version since I have read that dry oils only use thinner that evaporate with almost same oils, so wet versions last longer. Used it only on a dirty chan and a few drops held for 200km for me. Recommend!

Great wet lube

So I am the bike mechanic for all my friends and family and I have a lot of people you know the type who just don’t lube there chain ever and this stuff is great to put on there bike because it’s near impossible to get off without heavy duty degreaser. As for my own personal use I used it for about a week it’s spring in California and the dirt is damp and full of mud here. So I tested it on my local trail with 9 river crossings and it stuck and it did great and! Lube turned into glue

I used this lube and after a couple of weeks it turned into a glue. Impossible to remove even with an ultrasonic cleaner. I spent hours brushing the cassette and chainring to save them. Never using it again.

MTB drive chain lubricant.

I bought Muc-Off wet lube to keep my MTB running smoothly. I’d gone got wet rather than dry for a bit longer lasting lubrication for off road biking. I’d used it on my chain following a post ride wash and de-grease of my chain, applied lube after the bike had had a dry out ontop of the car on the way home from the trail. Also applied sparingly to front and rear mech pivot points for smother gear changes. Seems to last a few weeks of light use around town without re-application needed. Good designed bottle with long reach precision applicator.

all things considered not a total disaster

purchased this lube because it appeared to include an applicator cap that would make it easier to apply chain lube, bottle arrived with cap cut almost completely off. scented chain lube hmmm......not sure how important that is. appears to do what it is claimed to do. wait 3-4 hours after applying? overall a bit disappointed, hesitate to blame mucoff for this, more inclined to blame the shipping company, will probably try other mucoff products in the future but thru which retailer?
