The ultimate hair product for me. I have fine hair, but LOTS of it so this product creates good texture and separation with good hold. Medium hair needs a bit of blow waving to get more volume but when used during my shorter styles for summer it was irreproachable. Also awesome when I travel overseas for work as it withstands humidity quite well.

My problem with mud is that it makes my hair go greasy way too fast. I also don't like the texture. On the other hand, mud is the most effective hair product to 'glue' my baby fizzy hair together when I have a pony tail. Wish someone came up with a better idea, something between mud, gum and gel 😂. It's ok for now.

Awesome Hair Product

I bought this for my son who has shoulder length wavy hair. The product is fantastic. He can use Muk Hard Muk on just washed hair and get the look he wants. Without it his hair looked best 2 days after washing it. His hair looks natural and sits really well without the hard stuck together look caused by other styling products like wax or gel. I highly recommended it.

Great for short textured hair

I've been using this for many years and it's one of the best styling products I've used. It helps generate a lot of texture and has a great long-lasting hold. It's not greasy, easy to handle and wash off too.

Great product

Absolutely love this product, I have struggled in the past to find a hair product that works for me. Something that isn’t too shiny and has a reasonably strong hold. This does both of those! Will be ordering again.

Hard Mum Hair wax

I have been buying this product for years and will do for years to come. A little pricey but is the cheapest & safest place to buy is eBay, especially through this vendor. Great for short hair as you only need a small amount. Works great for longer hair but you have to use a lot more.. Sounds obvious but you notice the difference between needing a hair cut and just getting a fresh trim.

Man I've tried different ones.

This is the best I've ever used, and in thankful for one of my workmates that recommend it to me. There are not the most popular around hairdressing saloons but they are definitely the best as it keeps the hair natural and stays all day even when I use my bicycle helmet on. No grease hair at the end of the day.

I bought all the best mens hair products and compared them all, I will first say i'm biased towards hard muk because i've been using this product over 10 years and this has the best hold out of all mens hair products closely followed by uppercut deluxe clay. For my dry hair type I love how this has some shine to it, but for others that may be it's downside. The finish isn't matte but the hold is the best you can get. The texture is perfect, the smell is amazing. This is the best hair product for my hair type, but against other hair products this came in about 4th place and the only reason was because the finish wasn't as matte as some others like savage muk, uppercut deluxe clay and hanz de fuko claymation. As it states "brutal hold" and that is what I am after. Have been using for over 15 years.Style my short hair in the morning adding Hard Muk and that's it. Stays in style all day.

The best I have ever used

I have tested everything you can possibly imagine and this is by far the best one I've used. I have a long and straight hair, very hard to control. This one did the job of allowing me to hold it back for the whole day! Will definitely stick to it! Delivery and everything else, also great! Highly recommended!
