This bag to me shouts Mulberry, as does the Alexa, and I feel very fortunate to have both. This is a bag with structure and as such, for me, doesn't require a liner. Lots of room and with useful internal pockets. Can be carried on the shoulder, although this can be quite tight if you're wearing layers or a thick coat.I absolutely love this bag and it makes me feel special carrying it!The beautiful NVT leather does mark/scratch easily, and the hardware scratches easily too, so if you want to really use this bag, best to accept it won't remain in perfect condition. I regularly use the recommended products to protect and waterproof this bag and they do help.

I’ve wanted a Mulberry Bayswater for years but never been in the position to justify buying one. The time came and I went for it! Picking the bag up was an amazing experience. My son videoed me opening it. I know it’s just a bag but it’s genuinely given me so much pleasure and I use it everyday because I don’t believe things should be “kept for best”. Use it and love it.

Could have compartments inside, especially if one needs to carry books or items that nee to be kept separate. Otherwise it has a big open space inside with small side pockets and tends to flop. Looks good on the outside though.
