Munchkin Fishin' Bath Toy

This was a very clever toy! So cute! My little guy loves it! It also keeps him very occupied so I can get through the dreaded washing :).I would buy again or products similar to this. It was nice to have a different bath toy option without it being squirters or foam/crayons.The only FYI: the fish do not sink 0- makes it easier to get with the pole, it was fine, just didn't than I thought it would be.The only downside I have with it, is that water gets down the fishing pole and you have to turn it up to let the water drain down the line. I figure at some point this will cause some water mold or bacteria as I am not sure how it will eventually dry out in there.... Otherwise, I love it!

Best Buy/toy rating!

Bought 2, one for each grand. 20 month old granddaughter and 3 year old grandson love these equally. Makes bath time fun and also useful in our water table outside. Can be used dry indoors as well. Really cute.

Boring, dangerous

The fishing rod doesn’t feel up. My son is 2 and he doesn’t have the patience to sit and try and connect the magnet on the rod to the fish. He takes the rod and whips it around like a flail weapon, and it’s dangerous. Never plays with this. Fail for us.

First Bath Toy

This is a fun addition to bath time now. The fishing pole isn’t a working pole, it just makes the cranking noise when turning the handle and doesn’t lower or retract the rope. The pole also has a drainage hole so that water doesn’t stay trapped. The characters are the cutest. They float well on the water. The magnet that attaches them to the bobber(white and red ball) is strong, but my baby is still able to separate them with her own strength.

Fun bath time fishing!

This is such a cute bath toy. It makes a pretend reeling noise but doesn’t actually wind up. The fish are magnetic and it’s easy to catch them. They float on the water for lots of fun playtime! The fishing pole easily drains water that has been collected inside. The floating fish have no holes. We have had this toy for a few months and have not noticed any mold growth and hasn’t required cleaning. The colors are bright and fun for toddlers. Great toy and price.

Fun, affordable bath toy

My toddler loves this set and is fascinated by the magnets. The fishing rod and 3 magnetic “balls” (gold fish, diver, and octopus) are well-made. The reel cranks but it does not alter the length of the line. This is an affordable, fun bath toy!

Great water toy

My 18 month old has fallen in love with this bath toy. She enjoys catching the fish and playing with the pieces separately. I like it because the toy is well made. It's sturdy, there are no holes in the fish where water can get in, the reel spins and makes a noise like a real fishing poll, and the water drains easily out of the reel. My favorite part is the fish are weighted so the magnet is always on top while they float in the water. This makes it much easier to catch them with the bobber. It's fun and aids in hand-eye coordination without added frustration. Even my 5 yr old enjoys playing with the fishing set. It would also make a great pool/beach toy.

It’s the simple things kids enjoy!!

I purchased this fishing set for my 3 y/o grandson for Christmas to add to a bag of bathtub “goodies” for him. I purchased many other expensive toys for him to play with, yet after he had ripped them all open it was this less than $10 magnetic fishing game that he played with all evening!! And he’s still playing with it both in and out of the bath 2 weeks later! He received battery powered ride on toys, remote toys, talking action heroes, you name it, he got it, yet he loves his little fishing rod! :)

Love this toy. When thrown

Love this toy. When thrown in water the magnetic knobs in the “fish” point upwards making it easier for the “fishing rod” to “catch” those. Good for hand eye coordination.

Super Fun In Water and Out of Water!

This is legit the best $8 I've spent on a toy. Not only has this been fun for my 2½ daughter during bath time, but we've also made up a hide and seek game with the bobbles around our home. The parts have generally been easy to clean. Also, even though the reel doesn't reel but it's still an entertaining noise to my daughter. One thing I want to note to potential buyers is that water does get into the rod — I tipped it over after a bath and saw water streaming down the string (I don't personally mind it, but I'm sure someone out there might). Other than that, it's nearly perfect and has a lot of play potential!
