I received this as a present for my birthday, and it has not been a disappointment. I use the knives everyday, from cutting the kids lunches to boning and cutting meat. I then put them in the dishwasher and they turn out fine. I feel better about using this product knowing that they stand the test of time without breaking the budget. A great quality knife for that price and it comes with a knife sharpener!

They are extremely sharp and have a great grip, making whatever task you are doing a real pleasure. No more huffing and puffing or cutting doorsteps as they are so comfortable to use. I'd been searching for a quality set of knives for a reasonable price and saw this Mundial set in a local Kitchenware store. My sister has been using Mundial for years and has found them excellent in every way so I didn't think twice when I decided to buy these. After doing my research I found Kitchen Warehouse to have the best price and was pleasantly surprised when we received them only days after ordering them online. I've used what I thought were good knives for the past 40 yrs but now I know all I ever did was SAW everything. My Mundial knife block is FANTASTIC, its a pleasure to prepare food. I know they are not the most expensive on the market but they really feel good in your hand and are well balanced and super sharp. I never knew how good knives were supposed to be until someone gave me a Mundial knife as a gift. All of the knives I owned flexed when using and were blunt. I liked my gift so much I bought a whole set of them which are brilliant. The scissors are sharp and cleverly come apart for easy cleaning. The knife sharpener like the meat fork and carver are simple yet manufactured to look elegant and last a life time. The best recommendation I can give the knives is that they are PROPER knives not cheap nasty flimsy dangerous daggers. Once you have used Mundial you will never want to use anything else, they are quality kitchen tools ... sharp, with a great grip and feel. Unlike cheap knives you will only need to buy them once so they are economical in the long run.
I am in the process of re-organising my kitchen, replacing cheaper items with better quality designed to last. I knew Mundial had a good name and this set was perfect for meeting all my basic cooking needs. They are a joy to use, I can feel the quality in every chop. Kitchen Warehouse has now become my favourite place for kitchen shopping needs. They have quality products, decent prices and really fast service.
My husband purchased the Mundail Knife set and block for me many years ago. And it is still doing its job perfectly.
