Lovely salt, not too strong, adds flavour as well as saltiness. I find other salts excessively harsh. Have been using Murray River salt for years, not going back to ‘any old salt’ ever!

Excellent product and great value from Peter's of Kensington. I like using it as a finishing touch of seasoning on salads and eggs. It is perfect for salting pork belly rind before roasting.

Love this salt! It's Australian made whereas Himalayan salt is not always ethical as the workers don't get paid well under harsh conditions, so thank you for stocking this ????????????

Lovely healthy salt! No nasties!! Great that it is Australian salt produced naturally!!
Why use salt from the Himalayas when you can use salt from right here in Australia?! My sister-in-law introduced me to this a few years ago. She posted it up from Melbourne as my Christmas present - anyone else might have disowned her but it was the best present, I wouldn't use any other salt!
why would one buy imported salt when we have amazing salt lakes right here in Australia. The murray river salt has an almost saltier flavour to it- its hard to describe, only that its much richer and better than the himalayan or celtic sea salts that are more widely available. And its really pink! Absolutely recommend this Australian salt.
I'm on a high salt diet for medical reasons so have accidentally become a bit of a salt snob - and Murray River salt is my favourite! It has a more subtle flavour than a finely ground salt, and it's soft enough that you can crumble it a bit when you need to, but crunchy enough for the times when you need a bit of crunch. Also it's just very pretty!
Always a winner. We won’t use anything else And we give packs as part of a hamper to our family & friends.
MY naturopath recommended these to be because of the trace minerals etc, glad she did as they taste amazing. Especially in bliss balls with cacao!
This is from a river, that has pollution, where as Himalayan Rock Salt for example, is from deep underground and very old. Many of these other comments here look very fake, because who is an expert on how salt tastes? It is what is in the salt that counts.Skin care or to put of food? When I put it on food it tastes fine, yet as I live in this part of Australia, I wonder what else was near by, in this part of the river.
