I love these as a high protein snack and will always love these! For the fact these are high protein (P45g) bars means I can reach my goal of consuming a high amount of protein each day I am doing a hard out mountain bike ride and when working out my arms. The flavours are really tasty and I highly recommend anyone working hard out wanting to consume a protein bar packed with high amounts of protein to get these bars ASAP!

Besides the whey protein shake, this is so far the best protein-dense, easy-to-consume bar. 45g of protein per bar with only around 1200 kj energy. I definitely see my body bulking up with the help of the bar. This is my 2nd favourite flavour. I saw some people complaining about how bad they taste, but you have to treat it as a protein bar, not the real brownie! Be sensible!

I had the Milk chocolate brownie flavour. These were good! Good taste, and with having 45g protein you can have half of one per serve. I was having the first half in the morning and then the second half after some resistance band workouts at night, or sometimes just having half per day if on a rest day. These are a good convenient way to assist in keeping the daily protein count adequate for gains.
Bought the Rocky Road flavour as it is on special, way cheaper than Pak'nSave or other supermarkets. I've tried almost all the flavours but cookies and cream. The best ones are brownies and salted caramel. As a protein bar, you will not expect it tastes like a chocolate bar, hence, the tastes are acceptable in my opinion. I will keep buying them for my HIIT training. I do notice my body changes while protein loading. This is the quickest and easiest way to overload your protein intake.
Amazing Flavour, Easy to eat, hugely convenient. Gives a great boost of energy and feeling of full muscles before a workout, and personally I feel that it has helped my recovery post workout so much.
I prefer products with low overall sugar. At 0.5g sugar per 100g I find these bars are a better option than most (Salt Caramel flavour only).Approx 50% protein is a big plus across this range.Approx 6g Maltilol (and 7g fat) per bar may turn off some people, but is a reasonable compromise for me.Approx 1400kJ (335 kcal) per bar and with the Maltilol, fat and protein, most likely a low GI (not medical advice - your GI response may differ).
As you will know, I have been buying this product off you for years. I have found, to my horror, that these bars are available in New World for $4.99??? If you like protein bars as a treat, or as a daily MT/AT food like me, this is the best product!!! For the price of an ordinary bar 10-18g protein bar, these are flavoursome and the perfect size/calories to spilt the bar in half so it lasts the day!! So technically it's almost half the price of other protein bars. Perfect for male and female body builders that just can't eat chicken for every single meal like me... The salted caramel and cookies and cream are the best in my household! Enjoy. Kim
I’ve tried a few protein bars but I’ve now settled on Musashi P45 bars. They are stomach friendly, surprisingly tasty and as a bonus appears to fool the brains addiction receptors that it’s getting it’s fix of sugar! As it’s 45g of protein in each bar it effectively constitutes two serves of protein that can be taken in between meals to keep the stomach feeling full without the carb and more importantly sugar ingestion that can come with most “healthy” protein bars. Buying the full box means that each bar costs approximately the cost of a coffee.
