Muscle Nation - Protein Water, 25 Serves / Crisp Apple

I use one scoop to 1ltr water ratio even though the instructions recommend 400 - 600mls. Still yummy.Mango Passionfruit comes a close second behind the Apple Blackcurrant flavour. I feel like the taste of the collagen is more obvious in the Tropical Crush flavour so takes a bit more effort to get down. Recommend these for anyone looking for a protein shake alternative, or just a quick and easy way to boost protein intake.

Apple Blackcurrant - Not Recommended

I have had the Raspberry Protein Water mix many times and it is exceptional. Saw this new flavour on the Muscle Nation website and was very excited to try. Unfortunately, it is not the same consistency and clumps up when water is added. Lumps of the powder stay together even after shaking of the bottle throughout my workout. Very unpleasant to swallow a chunk of powder. When removing the lid and removing the shaker ball I found the powder had clumped around the ball and lots of it had stuck to the roof of my bottle lid. Used it twice and have not wanted to try again. Have just gone back to the Raspberry powder, which I highly recommend.

Exceptional Muscle gain results

This protein water enabled me to achieve amazing results in my gym challenge- resulting in winning the global challenge which is a Mt Everest Base Camp trip! I could never get enough protein into my nutrition to build muscle and don’t love protein shakes. I decided to try this protein water throughout the challenge, and at the end of the 6 week challenge I had gained 1.2kilos of muscle whilst also losing 7.8% body fat! I never really enjoyed the milky protein shakes, being a PT and nutritionist I always focus on getting enough protein and sometimes just too busy to get a proper meal in. This is so easy. The taste is like a delicious fruit punch with no weird aftertaste or texture on the tongue like some others I've tried. Like mixing juice with milk

I was after something different to protein shakes as I hate the thick milky texture and the grainy taste. When you shake the protein water you have to wait a bit for the foam to settle which i dont mind. My impression of this protein water is exactly what it says. It's like mixing passion mango juice with milk. In my opinion it's more off-putting than regular protein shakes which I might just stick to - it was a good idea though and I'm sure some people will like it, just not for me and the after-taste is just gross. I am open to trying the other flavours to see if this one just wasn't for me!

Moister than an oyster

I'll have this before the gym or in the morning as breakfast or in the afternoon as a light snack... basically anytime is a good time to drink this delicious fruity goodness. Absolutely love it. The texture is smooth and not grainy at all. Flavour is bomb. (Explosive and destructive to my bank account cause I wanna buy a yearly supply) . Not much else I can say other than 10/10 recommend.

Protein Water

Absolute love this protein water and can’t recommend it more highly. Great to sip while coming off a fast or if you are really busy and don’t have time to eat this gives you some protein and electrolytes without feeling too filling. Love the refreshing flavour of the raspberry and a few friends have tried it and loved it too and they now purchase also. Sportsfuel are the best with their fast and friendly service plus highly competitive prices. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!

Protein Water? No, Protein Clumps

Was super excited for this, unfortunately it doesn’t mix well into water, I’ve tried everything (hot water, cold water, mixing with a mixer, hot water and then cold water). It’s always clumpy and makes the drink super unenjoyable. I was silly and purchased every single flavour, and I’ve found it’s the same across the whole range. Usually love MN products (obsessed with their protein jelly), but protein water is a no go for me.

Tastes just like juice - but has 23g+ protein per serve!

This is now a daily staple in my diet. I drink it every day. It's a nice, cold, delicious drink to sip on - it tastes like juice! I can now meet my protein targets with ease.I find it best to fill up my bottle at least 5 or more minutes before I want to drink it. Give it a good shake and leave to sit (preferably in the fridge) to let the foam go down. Then fill up to the top again, add some ice, and I'm good to go.

The Absolute Best Protein Water

This protein water flavour is by far my favourite. Not only is raspberry the best flavour, but Muscle Nation's entire protein water line is miles above any other brand both in flavour, texture and amount of protein per serve.I am quite busy and on the go a lot and I have the unfortunate habit of forgetting to eat - not only does the protein water contain protein, but electrolytes and BCAAs. Drinking protein water throughout the day helps balance the days where I'm forgetting to eat.I also utilise the protein water with a scoop of pre-workout too as a little energy booster throughout the day as milky coffees tend to weigh me down. This protein water not only helps me to hit my daily protein target but it does so without unnecessary calories and sugar!
