Mustela Nourishing Cleansing Gel With Cold Cream 300ml

If you read any of my baby reviews you'll hear me say this again and again (and yet almost every product I try lately has this problem), this has an extremely strong added fragrance. For a start, they take out a lot of the 'nasties' that you wouldn't want on baby's skin and say it's safe, but they add a totally unneeded ingredient like perfume.It's not just that they add fragrance, but it's so strong that there must be lashings of it in there. There's really no need for scent at all in a product going on delicate baby skin, but at least make it mild if you're going to add it. This scent is a very cloying, overly sweet baby powder scent that made me cough. I find it very difficult to be objective when it's so over-fragranced.In short, works well, but so perfumed that I do not feel comfortable using it on a baby and that I would not use it at all

I usually purchase the original one or the sensitive ( red) one for my little one.My LO has sensitive skin and it works. This cleaning gel is a bit more thick than the original one. The smell is strong....similar to the original one. ( I think)

Great quality cream. Makes dry skin feel soft.

I recently tried out this cold cream cleansing gel and was surprised at how soft it made my son's skin feel. I will actually use baby wash on my own face now and then because my skin is also sensitive. It left my cheeks super soft without any residue. Because of the colder weather, we've both had a bit of dryer skin than normal, so this is a great time to see how well this works. I love the health benefits of avocado and appreciate the use of natural ingredients, as well. The ONLY thing about this cleansing gel is that I don't love the smell. It's a little overpowering to me. I can understand how maybe it could make a baby smell good for quite a while, but I'd prefer the scent to be a bit more subtle.

Great smell made skin feel clean

We use this nourishing cleansing body gel when bathing my baby and toddlers and it cleans them really well. My oldest also commented on how he liked the smell and wanted to use it. I followed the instructions and rubbed the gel together with my hands and then on to my chidlren's skin. It went on and washed off easily. I also enjoyed the smell. It wasn't too strong but smelled clean. It seems to be helping with my children's dry skin, which is another win. We are fans of this product! Would recommend to anyone that has kids with or has dry skin works wonders. Love it

Great soap for my little one!

I like this soap and have used this for my 15 month old ever since she was about 2 months old. She started getting eczema, so I researched products and decided to use this one. It is a little pricy, and it doesn't make much suds. We use quite a few pumps on the small girl, but we love the fact that this is a head-to-toe wash. It makes things so much easier and faster for us. When we first started using it, we weren't really fond of the smell...but we got used to it and we actually love it now. It hasn't completely taken away her eczema...but we still like it.

I don't recommend, this burned my baby's skin on their head. They have sensitive and eczema. And fragranced not good for eczema skin.

Perfect for dry skin!

I definitely swear by this product alongside the mustela lotion for dry skin and the mustela bath oil. My 4 month baby’s got so many issues with her skin. After treating all the rashes and redness of her skin (thanks to mustela’s sensitive skin care line) her skin has become dry. So i purchased this product straight away. We are not even halfway through the bottles and now her dry skin has now completely resolved! Amasing product!

Traumatic

My baby suffers from eczema and we gave this a shot but as soon as I started to lather her arm, she paused and started to cry, as if in pain. She only stopped after I rinsed her and removed her from the tub. It was a terrible experience and I felt so terrible. I would be cautious in using this product, if your child has eczema.

Use for hands

We use this as hand soap in my house. Ive been going through the brands baby body soap slowly and this one is so moisturizing on cold midwest winter hands and mechanic hands! Minus one star because the smell isnt very good and its strong (thankfully doesnt linger) would not use it as a full body soap due to the scent
