This product contains solely Whey protein isolate and Whey protein hydrolysate. Whey Isolate removes most of the fat, cholesterol and lactose in the whey so it is easier to digest and hydrolysate is a pre-digested form of isolate which also allows for easier digestion and absorption. The flavour is great having tried peanut butter, strawberry and chocolate from this company. I'm unsure if they added BCAA's and glutamine to the product or if they are stating the glutamine and BCAA content in the protein at present. Whey protein naturally contains EAA's, which are all the essential amino acids (including BCAA's) and glutamine. Overall good product and I recommend buying if cost is not an issue to you.

This is the worst tasting protein powder I've ever had in my life. Not even joking. I got the vanilla flavour because that's often a safe bet. It's insanely sweet and tastes faintly of cheese. Just don't even bother getting it, it's seriously awful and I wish I had saved money and bought a smaller container to try it out first, because there is no way in hell I'm gonna be using this garbage. I'm afraid it's going in the trash and that's close to 100$ wasted on something that calls itself Gourmet. Save yourself the time and do not bother with this product.

Hello all,I have tried multiple protein supplements throughout my life and this protein is hands down one of the best I have ever tried. First off, I would say, the most important benefit would be the quick recovery time for my muscles, it’s really efficient in speeding up recovery after intense workout sessions. It also helps with mass gain, I have noticed some slight gains in mass since I started consuming this daily. The powder is also very easy to mix into a shake & it tastes delicious. I ordered this product on a recommendation from my training partner. The flavour is incredible and strong 10/10, lots of proteins leave a nasty after taste and/or have a weak flavour. My buddy has the mint choc chip and it contains chocolate chips, need I say more? Next would be mixability, again 10/10, the powder is fine and smooth, and easily blends with your water/milk. I have found no bitty residue left in my shaker like other name brand protein. After sales care by Fit Food, 10/10, I had a small issue with my order. I contacted Fit Food and their reply was friendly and fast, they also went above and beyond to sort the issue. To sum up, you should definitely buy Mutant Iso Surge from Fit Food, I know I'll be back for more flavours.
I only wish you guys stocked the cookies & cream flavor. Beside that, I would recommend that ISO to everyone, it taste amazing and has only 1g of carbs/1g of fat for 25g of proteins. And with 5 pounds of powder you get a good deal! $$$ Also, the other stuff in there (BCAA, etc): Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Histidine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophane, Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Cystine, Glutamine + Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Proline, Serine and Tyrosine. Are just a big PLUS.
The photo with the nutrition label only shows the vanilla so I was hoping the cookies n cream would be the same but it isn't. Per scoop, the percentage of protein is only 78% which is low for an isolate (grams protein/ total grams per scoop= 25/32x100=78%) meaning the majority of other ingredients are just fillers. I would hope for my isolate to be well over 80% protein. I wish I knew this before purchasing! In addition, the protein only fills half of the container, which is deceiving. Luckily I got the 727g on sale for $23. Flavour wise, the product is fine but nothing crazy.
This is an exceptional protein product. It’s cost effective, it mixes well, it’s high quality, it’s easily digestible, and it tastes absolutely delicious. The strawberry variety is my favorite, there are little bits of actual strawberry in the mix. Pro tip, if you mix it ahead of time the strawberry will rehydrate. Right now what I do is stick it in the fridge at the gym and it’s the chefs kiss on my session as I’m wrapping up my last movement.
My main goal for wanting to try out this product was of taste. In my research this product came up. When the company also boasts its the best tasting protein powder I had to give it shot. I'm very disappointed to say the least with the flavour. It is way too sweet. I have to shove the drink right down my throat other wise there is good chance I'm going start gagging. I'm not giving it 1- star because I still believe the benefits that the powder provides. I'm still going reluctantly finish the tub, but I don't think I'll ever buy from this brand again.
