The most satisfying tomato pur?e that weve come across. If you crave that mouth-filling umami punch from your pur?e you will not be disappointed. We use generous amounts in Venetian dishes such as Pasta e fagioli alla Veneta and it really sets it apart from others too. Brilliant in classics such as Ragu as well. Other brands are more akin to thicker tomato ketchup - not this!

Someone once said to me all tomato pur?es are the same, but oh are they wrong! This is just of a way superior quality entirely, not bitter at all, the taste is excellent. I even use this uncooked, just with some extra virgin olive oil and oregano to top up cheese melt crostini just out from the oven. So glad I can buy this here.

Very flavoursome indeed. I use in casserole, Bolognese, chilli and for pizza topping. Its a very rich flavour and it seems like a little goes a long way compared to other brands.
I add tomato pur?e to many of our everyday family dishes so have tried many over the years. About a year ago I discovered the Mutti brand after seeing their finely chopped tomatoes on offer as a delivery pass holder. They are the best tinned tomatoes Ive tried so when I saw their pur?e I didnt hesitate in buying it. It adds a lovely rich depth to any dish I add it to. Its well priced and is far superior to any pur?e Ive tried before. Its now a regular purchase along with the chopped tomatoes.
I got this as a substitute for my normal brand. It's good and slightly larger than the cheaper alternatives. Not sure it's worth the extra cost though. I'd get if on offer....or as a sub again!
Normally i use Waitrose brand tomato pure in tube. ordered this as it was stated as double consantrated. taste is blund and i had to squeeze alot o get the pase out. it is filled with air. I will go back to Waitroes essesntil tomato paste.
This is so difficult to get hold of, I buy whenever I see it. It is just tomato, with a little bit of salt. So it tastes of tomato, and not of the dubious additives in other pastes. Excellent for concentrating the flavour of any dish requiring tinned tomatoes, and brilliant as the base for a quick pasta sauce
Mutti is always great! Haven't used any other tomato puree since I discovered this one a couple of years ago. Use it in every meal that requires it and even others that don't just to add some sweetness.
Perhaps it's the simplicity of this product. Perhaps I've been cunningly swayed by the packaging, making me think of plump, fresh, Italian tomatoes grown in glorious southern sunshine. Even so, when I close my eyes and focus solely on the flavour and texture of this tomato paste, enjoyed straight from the tube, it tastes absolutely gorgeous. It's one of those moments when you remember how important it is to use really good quality basic ingredients. This puree is made of nothing more than tomatoes and salt. But my goodness they're excellent tomatoes!
