Mutti Pizza Sauce Aromatica 280g

Made homemade Pizza, using Mutti Pizza Sauce, mozzarella, and homemade meatballs. Delicious.This is a very good Pizza sauce, which I prefer to others available here in Thailand (Prego, Heinz), if you buy canned or jarred sauces.What do I believe? I believe this is Mutti Passata, seasoned, and…that if you added Italian seasoning to Mutti Passa…you have…Pizza Sauce!

One of the best pizza sauce I have ever bought. Excellent sauce for homemade pizza and everyone at home approved it. So tasty with a good balance of ingredients and it doesn't have any chunk of tomatoes that makes it easy to spread. Nice tomato flavour with a hint of basil and garlic, I also use it as a spaghetti sauce as it already has some herbs on it that makes my dishes more flavorful. I highly recommend you to try this brand and you will never go back to your old brand of pizza sauce ever!.

As it should be- authentic

I’m very fussy. I make my own dough and having family in Italy I have experienced authentic. Italian pizzas often. Usually I make my own sauce but I often find our tomatoes too acidic, whether tinned or fresh. Mutti tinned tomatoes are the closest I can find to what I’m looking for so I was happy to try this sauce. It’s good. I use it. Very happy! It’s quite thin, as it should be - pizza should only have a film of tomato base - and it’s not too acidic, nor overloaded with herbs. I’m using it instead of making pizza sauce and am intending to keep a stock in the cupboard.

Best canned/jarred pizza sauce I've had.

Recently purchased a Solo Stove Pi Prime pizza oven and was looking for a premade sauce. This pizza sauce is fantastic! I like it better than a lot of the jarred or canned pizza sauces you can find at your local grocery stores. This one tastes a lot more authentic and doesn't taste like pasta sauce, like a lot of others.

Brilliant cupboard standby...

I always have this Mutti pizza sauce in my food cupboard. It is so versatile. As well as using it for pizza bases I use it for sauces. Last week I saut?ed a tablespoon of frozen shallots with garlic. I added one tin of this sauce along with splash of white wine and a small amount of chicken stock. Simmered until thickened but spoonable. I split 2 chicken breasts and dusted them in seasoned flour, then beaten egg (extra note: added clove of finely minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian mixed herbs to beaten egg) then coated in Panko breadcrumbs. Shallow friend chicken until crispy... Put chicken in casserole dish small amount of sauce In base of dish and rest on top of chicken breasts covering about 2/3rds of chicken, sprinkled some shredded basil leaves over ... MoreI always have this Mutti pizza sauce in my food cupboard. Found a twin pack i must have bought pre pandemic in the back of my cupboard. Good excuse to get some good Italian ham, good salami and - you guessed it - good Italian cheese in from Ocado. Just made and ate a lovely pizza. Id say it was a 12 round pizza and theres defo enough in each tin for two pizzas. It looks and tastes like a good quality pizza base. All the flavours youre looking for at the right consistency. It wont drown your dough. Im having a second pizza tomorrow.

Mutti is a must

Was pleasantly surprised by how good this was as lots of ready made sauces taste synthetic. Bought as I love the Mutti tinned tomatoes and glad I gave it a try. Nice to add a spoonful to home made sauces / casseroles to add a little zizz

The only pizza sauce for us

Best pizza sauce around. It makes your home made pizza taste like one you get at a real pizza place (no chain).Mutti is the best tomato products brand in Italy and I wish their whole line of offerings was available here.

The worst product I have bought from Waitrose

Our usual pizza base sauce has been unavailable for some time so we bought this one. What a mistake! Turns out it creates a very wet and uncooked pizza (the base sauce needs up to be dry)Did anyone at Waitrose try this product before they put it on the shelf? The problem with a sauce like this is that if it’s poor quality it will spoil all the other ingredients. Sadly our pizzas were unedible, all the other Waitrose products we put with it were ruined and our evening meal didn’t happen.If that wasn’t bad enough we bought 2 tins of the stuff!!!!!Easily the worst product we have ever bought from Waitrose, please take it off the shelves.

Love this pizza sauce. Popular grocery store quit carrying this product. Thank goodness for Vitacost. These were carefully wrapped for shipping. Price is slightly higher than what I used to pay locally, but the sauce is that good, that I'll pay more.
