Keyboard feels solid & quite heavy so doesn’t move around when typing & feels quality. Its great that it is rechargeable via USB, so no meed to worry about replacing batteries. You can download an options+ app for the PC that allows you to customise keys on the keyboard & on certain Logitech mice if you have one. Unfortunately my MX Master 2S isn’t yet supported for this feature. The footprint is tiny but all the keys are full size, although no separate number pad although this isn't an issue for me it maybe for some. The keyboard is backlit with a sensor that detects when you approach & dims to save power when not in use.It can also be adjusted to an angle for more comfortable use by pulling out the 2 feet underneath. I work in high volume data entry and the MX Mechanical works great for that environment. The tactile switches offer a soft amount of resistance without feeling “spongy” like a cheaper keyboard would feel and sounds amazing. It is noteworthy that as the input is actuated as the key is about halfway down, you’ll need to get used to allowing the key to raise up fully to repeatedly enter the same character, with the way the resistance works it seems like you should be able to lift it half way before pressing a second time but this is not the case.Back lighting is nice, however the use of only a single white colour because it’s not a “gaming” keyboard is silly given how much you’re paying. Also a dial or other physical input to control light duration / sleep timing ... MoreI work in high volume data entry and the MX Mechanical works great for that environment. Also a dial or other physical input to control light duration / sleep timing would be appreciated instead of using a whole software package “G hub”, which on the Mac essentially asks permission to see every keystroke when installed, which feels like a huge security liability, however the lights work okay without this.Overall very happy with this keyboard, enjoy using it everyday and would buy again.

Firstly I love the consideration that has been put into this from logitech from a climate perspective though the use of recycled material and with a zero carbon footprint. It's great to see companies endeavour to make a difference. The keyboard itself is sleek and visually very attractive with a great rigidity despite the light weight. The backlight is visually great but good that there is an option to turn off to improve the already impressive battery life.Typing is effortless and I found a noticeable improvement in my report writing compared to using my previous keyboard. From a gaming perspective its very solid too with a layout that feels natural when moving around at pace.Overall a fantastic keyboard in terms of looks, build and performance.

I have been using this keyboard for about a week now and I find it amazing! It was so easy to install and pair with my device, you can also switch so quickly between devices. The battery charge lasts ages! I charged this once in the whole time I've used it and its still going strong, even though i use it for around 8 hours per day. I love the back light it senses you hands and adjusts the light according to the light levels in your room. I've been using this for gaming and work and it's insane for both! You can quickly switch between paired devices so no stress with this one, you won't need to worry about going through the pairing process each time. I haven't found a keyboard that has come up to this standard before, it's definitely a premium board for gaming! Typing is responsive with short travel distance also the typing noise is quiet. It's a very attractive keyboard also it sleek and stylish. It has plenty of useful features so you can really get the most out of using this keyboard. It's high quality and comfortable to use. I would recommend this for gaming or work, it's great for both.
I learned to touch type on a manual typewriter and I normally like traditional keyboards. I have had many keyboards over the years. Took a little while to adjust to the key mechanism but seems very durable and tactile thus far. No perceivable delay on key entry versus a wired mechanical keyboard.I like low profile keyboards as I find them much easier on my wrist, and while I don't like the super shallow travel keys on some keyboards. This is a well built, tactile and functional keyboard. This is just what I needed. Flexible when working from home, portable enough to take I to office. The Logitech MX keyboard range is renowned for having some of the best keyboards on the market, so this new MX Mechanical had a lot to live it up to. I’ve been using the MX Keys for about a year now and changing to a mechanical keyboard was a bit of a risk, but I’m pleased to say I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a super comfortable typing experience with a satisfying click with each keystroke. It has smart illumination that lights up when your hands get close to the keyboard and dim when moved away after so long. There’s various settings for lighting modes, like lighting the modifier keys and a reaction mode that lights each individual keystroke. It’s also compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, Chrome OS, Linux and Android. This Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Performance keyboard oozes quality. The design in sleek and attractive and Slim yet solid. The keyboard is a combination of black and grey giving it that professional look. It was really easy to set up and get using. Each key feels great under my fingertips, making typing a pleasure especially with the back-light (illumination) each key has. There are several settings and I love that I am I control of the type of light I want or if I want it off to save power. I tend to switch the lighting off during the day and use it more in the evening this way one charge can last for much longer. This is the smartest keyboard I have ever owned. A fab piece of equipment for sure.
When you open the box there’s a diagram showing how to connect, another highlighting the 3 “easy switch” keys (when you connect to different devices) and reference to the website for more instructions, so they have kept the paper to a minimum (although the keyboard was wrapped in tissue paper).Compared to my normal keyboard, the Logitech is about 25% smaller (You’d think I should have got out a tape measure, but I’ve included a photo for reference instead!). Given the inbuilt battery it is significantly heavier than a traditional keyboard, as you would expect. It is noticeable when playing a game for a while when resting on my lap. There is a mini USB dongle (called a Logi Both) that allows you to plug and Play the keyboard from initially booting the PC, though ... MoreWhen you open the box there’s a diagram showing how to connect, another highlighting the 3 “easy switch” keys (when you connect to different devices) and reference to the website for more instructions, so they have kept the paper to a minimum (although the keyboard was wrapped in tissue paper).Compared to my normal keyboard, the Logitech is about 25% smaller (You’d think I should have got out a tape measure, but I’ve included a photo for reference instead!). It is noticeable when playing a game for a while when resting on my lap. There is a mini USB dongle (called a Logi Both) that allows you to plug and Play the keyboard from initially booting the PC, though there is also the ability to connect via Bluetooth (that my PC doesn’t have). You charge the battery via an USB Type-C connector for about 4 hours. There’s a power LED that will show then you are 10% or less, but I didn’t let it drain that low. This will give you typically 15 days (with the backlight on) but I tend to connect my devices to a charger to keep them at maximum battery power than let them drain too much.I did connect my PC via HDMI to my TV, and use the keyboard at a distance of 8 feet away, which was OK, but given I don’t have a wireless mouse that tended to be more of a hindrance and prevented any gaming where a mouse is needed! I wouldn’t recommend having a wireless keyboard unless you have a wireless mouse too!Whilst it does have dedicated directional arrow keys, Del, home, end, Pg Up, Pg dn and also Sound up /down most other keys are doubled within the function keys There are some extra key functions that allow you to switch to up to 3 devices (I only have one so couldn’t test that!). What is odd is there is a play/pause button for your media, but no skip track option. What I did like was the feel of it compared to my laptop keyboard. I did hook it up for a little while, but there’s no real advantage to connecting to a laptop, compared to a PC given you still need to be close to see the screenI didn’t notice that much discernible latency issues, but then again it wasn’t put under any “real” gaming pressure, as the games are not ones where lightning reflexes could “push” the keyboard, so overall I didn’t encounter any issues. The illuminated keyboard is nice, thought the phone photos show it as blue, which would have looked pretty cool, but in fact it is a white light. Not only is the lighting It has a proximity sensor so the lighting cleverly turns on when your hands hover over the keyboard, and turns off after a whileDue to a health and safety assessment I cannot use a wrist rest, but if you do you might find this keyboard more of an issue due to its low profile (although it does have the “standard” feet to raise the back of the keyboard)I didn’t use the keyboard in a single session to drain the battery, and put it back on charge after each time. You can use the keyboard whilst it is charging, though the supplied lead is pretty short and didn’t reach around the sofa to do this (I ended up using my phone lead as that’s a decent length!)Overall I found the keyboard to be a pleasant experience, and it was a matter of getting accustomed to locating certain keys on the smaller layout. As I said, the OSP of a wireless is to also have a mouse in conjunction and then really enjoy gaming (or office working) sitting on your sofa using a TV!
When I first got this keyboard I was extremely impressed by the experience. However, once the novelty wore off some niggles started to show. The keycaps were quite difficult type on and being soft touch plastic I could see them wearing down fairly quickly. The adjustable kickstands were a nice addition but the angle wasn't quite enough to be comfortable and the typing experience as a whole was just a little bit off. But luckily the stems are standard cherry mx so I was able to put keycaps from an old board on which greatly improved my accuracy. More problems arose from this unfortunately as the caps would bottom out quite harshly which produced an off-putting clack and felt quite harsh on the fingers. This was overcome by some more mods. More problems arose from this unfortunately as the caps would bottom out quite harshly which produced an off-putting clack and felt quite harsh on the fingers. This was overcome by some more mods. I disassembled the board (once I worked out how it was rather easy) and filled all the blank spaces with silicone. I then placed a small bead of silicone where the metal plate makes contact with the plastic case to act as a sort of gasket. I also lubed the stabilisers a bit better than what came from factory and sanded down the bigger keycaps (enter, e.t.c) and I have been more than satisfied with it ever since. The logi+ software is great and when paired with the mx mouse makes multitasking between my uni laptop and main computer a breeze. Although missing the customisation found in something like razer synapse, it is far more user friendly. All in all, it is a good board for business purposes and with a little bit of work put in, an outstanding board for all uses

The back-lit keys make it easy to see what your typing even in low light. This is a smaller keyboard and doesn't include a number pad, though does have a full set of function keys. It can be used with both windows and mac os and also supports android. When typing there is little to no flex in the key deck as it is constructed from aluminium and the board has a premium feel to it. Keys are of a good size and are hard to miss while touchtyping thanks to the bowl like dent on the center of each key and the keys are of a good size, key travel is noticeable and precise. For the quality of the product, ease of use and functionality the keyboard is reasonably priced.
