Make sure you are clear about your expectations of this pillow. It does make feeding much easier and more comfortable but it's nearly impossible to get the pillow in place while holding your baby and equally difficult to pick your baby up with the pillow already strapped in place. It works best when you have another person to pass you the baby once you are comfortably settled with the pillow
I love this pillow BUT I have to still pile a pillow underneath it because if I don't it sits down too low / droops when feeding bub. This is fine but once I do this I feel a bit claustrophobic with the pillow strapped around me + padding on back + pillow underneath. I'm now not using it as much because I often get a bit flustered with it all. That said, I do love the pillow - it's just the need to add extra pillows that bothers me. If I sit in my nursing rocker it sits nicely on the arm rests so that's okay.
I had used this with baba1and was amazing, had to guy a new one for baby2 as so many years apart I gave my old one away.This new one had one issue, the Velcro was sooo weak! So important as I found it kept flicking open due to no grip. I am looking to replace the soft side part of Velcro to just solve this prob but I shouldn’t have to. I feel I wasted money as it won’t close and secure.Pay almost $100 and Velcro, prob very cheap to come by, is completely crap.I’d only recommend this to a friend if this isn’t what they are all like, I know the older ones are not (prob 5years between me having the old one and new one)
This pillow is firm, yet very comfortable and offers great support - I suffer from carpal tunnel so this really helps alleviate pressure from my wrists when feeding bub. He's latching much better since I started using it, too. Really happy with this purchase - wish I had bought it sooner!
I don't know how I ever survived without my pillow for support during feeding. I was able to use this for normal and football hold feeding positions and still have a free arm which as any breastfeeding mum will tell you is priceless. Great for night feeds too as it takes the stress of being too tired to hold bubs. Definitely recommend this product
