9% Leucine content for the price is pretty great. It mixes well enough that there is no residue and the taste (chocolate smooth) is similar to the chocolate flavour of Carte D'or
ice cream. The chocolate itself masks about 80% of that protein taste that I always find in powder which is good enough. Bought a 5kg on Black Friday so the value is pretty
much unbeatable for the quality I'm getting. However, with the bigger bags come a cost. The powder tends to clog up the plastic locking mechanism to the point where I had
to transfer it all to another bag/container since it couldn't close properly. Overall would definitely recommend. Might just bite the bullet and buy the coveted Salt... Show more

Awful taste - Chocolate Caramel

I ordered the caramel chocolate one and it tastes really bad. I've had been using whey powder from other brands before (always flavours from the chocolate range) which
tasted very nice and decided to try this My protein one because of the low fat and carbs but the taste is simply terrible - you can mainly taste the powder, barely any
chocolate flavour and what I assume is the caramel feels like some very artificial sweetener taste. I've tried it both with water and with skimmed milk, and weighted the
amount of powder to make sure I was doing it as recommended. May be the price to pay for a product with such low fat and carbs but for the sake of avoiding th... Show more

Chocolate Peanut Butter minus Butter

I was intrigued by this. Who doesn't like peanut butter unless you are allergic. I mixed a scoop with unsweetened almond milk and a scoop of unflavoured creatine. It smells
like peanut, like raw peanut, and the taste was a little bitter, but lightly sweet at the same time. When I mixed it again this morning without the creatine, it actually tastes like a
chocolate milkshake with raw peanuts in it. And I mean peanuts with their brown skin attached to it. No butter flavour to be found. Yet, that is not a bad thing at all. The
powder is easy to pour especially when you like transferring the powder from the bag into a container. No air gaps as with vanilla or banana. It's different in tast... Show more

I've got the new packaging so not sure if the formula has changed as comments from a couple years ago (which seem to be the main ones displayed) say that it tastes great. My partner who also takes protein shakes doesn't like it at all either. Not sure how I'm going to get through the 2kg of this that I've ordered.... :( On the possitive side the delivery was really quick and the shopping experience was very good. Great product and price

Great product quick and easy to use. I chose the unflavoured as I don’t like sweet things plus it can be mixed in to nearly every food product as it has no flavour nor sweetness. As I work very early I don’t have time first thing in the morning to mess about making things so a scoop mixed in water gives me that kick start to my pro time first thing before I have breakfast an hour or so later when I mix some more in with my porridge Oates or at lunch when I have my Oates , fruit and seeds. Very versatile and so easy to mix and use. I don’t eat ant meat nor fish and have limited dairy intake so this is an ideal way to get the amount of proteins and some of the other nutrients I really need. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my physical appearance which now has a more toned and firm look as a posed to loose saggy skin. I am on the older spectrum so need to be more mindful about what I put into my body and how I treat it that’s why I have started to exercise more and to ensure I have the right nutrients to support me. Goes Well With: - mixed with water or milk if you prefer - mixed in to oates, yogurt, fruit and mixed seeds or just plain porridge (I tend to blend it with water or the milk first as it can go lumpy otherwise) - Mixed in any puddings - Soups - Bolognese, pasta sauces, curries - muesli bars - in fact you can mix it with anything as long as you combine it with the liquid first.... Great product, hits all the marks

If you want a shake with high protein content, low (to no) sugar, great mixability, great taste.. this is the product for you. There are never any lumps in the shake (which is obviously off-putting when you’re downing a supposedly smooth substance). The taste is great, it’s not powdery or processed-like. I honestly cannot fault it in any way. I’m normally pretty picky with my proteins, as most of them can taste a bit funny (not quite as advertised) or they bloat you out. But with this product, I am a very happy retuning customer. Worth every penny. I’m a retuning customer for this product, and will continue to do so. I simply mixed it with water and I'd describe the consistency as red/skimmed milk with vanilla flavouring. Wasn't unpleasant but you most definitely can/should add to oats, smoothies etc to have a more enjoyable experience. BUT unfortunately I had a reaction to something in this protein powder. Instant nausea and an instant (and I mean instant) migraine that felt like someone was pushing on my face. After some research I believe this is relatively common with protein powders, possibly the result of artificial sweeteners. After my single use I won't be using it again and am now stuck with a big bag of unused powder. If you'd like to avoid the same outcome as me and maybe you think you could have the same reaction, I recommend trying the instant protein drinks you can buy in a super market to see how you'd react. All is not lost. There are alternatives for these situations and after some googling you can find protein powders that claim to avoid the ingredients that cause this reaction.... Show more

Pistachio tastes terrible
17 May 2024
Do yourself a favor and don't experiment with this brand of whey isolate protein flavors. I've tasted the Mocha, Chocolate Smooth, Chocolate mint, Strawberry cream, Pistachio and the unflavored. I can only urge you to stick to the Chocolate smooth and keep it simple. Maybe the unflavored but it tastes chalky to me regardless of what smoothie I try to make with it. The rest of the flavors, just stay away from those. You're not missing anything if you don't get those. They taste like chemicals, like a petroleum byproduct or something. My most recent purchase was the Pistachio which is terrible. I know taste is subjective but I really can't imagine anyone really liking this flavor. Worst Protein ever
26 September 2024
I am a regular buyer of myprotein, and never faced any issues till now, but this time from poor taste to questionable ingredient quality, this product falls short in multiple areas. First and foremost, the flavor is nothing short of a disaster. Whether it’s the chalky aftertaste or the overpowering artificial sweeteners, consuming this protein feels more like a chore than a post-workout treat. Even mixing it with different liquids—water, almond milk, or smoothies—does little to mask the unpleasant taste. Texture-wise, myprotein clumps badly. No matter how vigorously you shake or blend, you're left with gritty lumps that make the shake hard to swallow. It also tends to foam excessively, creating a foamy, frothy mess that’s far from the smooth, creamy texture you'd ... MoreI am a regular buyer of myprotein, and never faced any issues till now, but this time from poor taste to questionable ingredient quality, this product falls short in multiple areas.
