I was looking forward to trying this protein since I love cinnamon and banana... Well, glad I just ordered a few samples. I am quite disappointed. Doesn't mix well, it's lumpy even using the shaker and cold liquids, tastes too artificial and it's not cinnamony at all. The macros are great and I'll have it anyway for cold shakes and smoothies, but won't be ordering again. Goes Well With: Less lumpy in cold drinks

Can’t help but feel that this product hinges entirely on the term “organic” which was, to be fair, what caught my own eye with it. However, that is literally all it’s got going for it, as well as it’s mixability I guess, because the taste is not pleasant. I’ve got the organic unflavoured and that is much much better because it just blends in with what you’re eating it with. But the banana one...nah. It’s like someone thought “oh we can’t find any organic sweetener so we just won’t put any it at all” and what you’re left with is a weird, bitter result that doesn’t actually taste anything like banana. If you want it to actually taste nice, take the hit on non-organic. If you want the organic stamp, I’d go with unflavoured. If you REALLY want organic and flavoured, go ... I've been using the unflavored Organic Whey for about a year now and it is my favorite, because it digests very well and you can customize the flavor easily. The reason I switched to Whey was because the isolate forms were giving me gas, tasted like sand, and the flavored versions of isolate tasted too much of chemicals. This (unflavored) organic whey has a mild, creamy, milky taste and reminds me a bit of condensed milk. No gas issues or tummy aches. If you are not crazy about the milky taste, it tastes fantastic when mixed with plain water and frozen berries, or with peanut butter/powder and bananas. I have also mixed it with water and high quality cocoa powder and/or cinnamon. Basically, if you are picky about the taste, this product is mild tasting enough that ... This works best with powdered ingredients like cocoa or peanut butter powder, otherwise you need a blender for the fruit. Sickly sweet, with all that sucralose, not to mention the added stabilizers and emulsifiers and colouring and all that junk you just don't need. Speaking from experience, having had to get my way through literally kilos (maybe 10?!) of flavoured proteins from MP that definiely aren't to my taste/are pretty grim after a while, do yourself a massive favour and try the samples out first. They may be gram for gram astronomically expensive in comparison but it's worth paying for to make sure that you won't end up either throwing away otherwise good but foul tasting protein, or having to chug your way through kilos of barely edible powder. Steer clear of banana, strawberry cream and vanilla flavours as these all taste incredibly artificial. Chocolate and chocolate derivative flavours can be a bit hit ... I was only loyal because it was a quality whey isolate protien "The best in the market" then they decided to change all their products to vegan.... Anyways I am thankful that I decided to buy this sample because if I bought the 1kg I would have thrown my money in the bin. It smells very bad, it smelt like chemicals! It was kind off weird, I have never come across an isolate that smells like chemicals! I needed a low carb protein for post-gym breakfast as I'm on a very low carb diet (each to their own but it's the only one I have found works for me!). The chocolate flavour states "1.1g carbs per serving, 0g of which sugars", in case you needed that info. I didn't expect the taste to be so rich without being sickly sweet, so that was a pleasant surprise. This may be something to do with the diet, where my previous insatiable sweet tooth and love of food is replaced with nonchalance in the face of cream cakes and all things delicious. So i will give a personal opinion on the taste etc and i will explain the effects it had on my body and my training regime. The product is very well presented, with a clear and visible list of ingredients, a solid pouch, and an airtight lock. The smell is pleasant, the consistency is fine, and the mixability is excellent in cold water, with little to almost no shake needed. The taste is intense (assuming you respect the indicated dosages) and not too sweet. It will leave you feeling full and will not leave a bad smell in your shaker cup if you forget to rinse it. As for the effects, i used whey concentrate from top brands for months to supplement my protein intake, but i had all sorts of disappointments, like feeling bloated to the whey tasting poorly and i felt like i drank cocoa milk as i saw no results...My muscles obviously didnt get enough protein, and my training regime saw no improvement, as i felt weak and my muscles didnt grow (my regime is 5x5 Stronglifts, a strength program). After looking for the top rated whey isolate, i came across Iso:Pro on Labdoor, ranking at nr1. And it deserves that spot...After a couple months, i can say that i feel well fed after a good shake, and my muscles are full and strong. I improved my lifts by a substantial margin, and i couldn't have done it with just food, as i don't have the material time to eat many meals. Iso:Pro has been a great aid and i don't intend going back to any other brand. Goes Well With: Warm milk and oats.
