You can then use hairbrush or sponge brush to clean it. I recommend cleaning it weekly with a little alcohol or anti-bacterial soap to keep out any bacteria build up though using Scope or Listerine would also kill off any remaining ones.Very compact & portable ????? Great for travel and even comes with a carrying pouch.And Now Some Note-worthy reservations ?????This will take some getting used to ????? water jet is very pressurized, and you would need to play with the setting to get the mode that works best for you.The battery reading is not always very accurate ????? A few times, the reading show 20% charged and yet the device didn?????t power up. This doesn?????t happen often but now I won?????t let it fall under 50% (charge).The measurement system is metric ????? this is ok for most of us but for many, it takes some getting used to. For example, the reservoir is 350 mil (which is close to 12 oz) and water temperature display in Celsius (and can?????t be changed) .. but again, this is a minor issue.Needs periodic cleaning ????? Even though cleaning itself is easy, you will still need to wash the unit at least once a week if not more. Since the tips won?????t touch your mouth as the pressure is way too strong, that part won?????t need much cleaning & if you use mouth wash, that would be more than enough to clean them while in use. Also make sure to air dry it completely so as to not let moisture in & cause any mold or bacteria build-up.Overall, this is a very good flosser, it?????s compact, easy to use, powerful & yet great battery life.

It works well and seems about as effective as a WaterPik brand unit I've used. You can adjust the flow rate with a turnable dial at the bottom of the unit. It takes a bit of time to familiarize yourself with using this without getting water everywhere if you have never used one before. Basically, you have to remember to slide the on/off switch on the handle to off before removing it from your mouth.My one complaint is that the cable that attaches the handle to the flossing machine is a bit stiff and not as long as I'd prefer. But I didn't find that a deal breaker.On the whole, this is a nice, decent-quality water flosser.Pros** Holds 34oz of water, enough to get the job done (3.5 minutes)** Several different jet styles included** Includes UV sterilizer for the tips** Comes with a nice custom carry case** Adjustable jet strength. I was really surprised to learn that the MySmile water flosser has a built in Parts Per Million (PPU) water analyzer and temperature sensor. I used my water tester, and I compared the readings with those reported by the MySmile flosser. This blew me away learning of the device's accuracy. But I'm glad I did buy a separate water analyzer as it validates the reading that the MySmile ... Also, many hotels in foreign countries don't have electric outlets in the bathroom. On more than on occasion we had to use a plug-in electric water pic and try to expel the excess water in a glass while we used it in a bedroom. Now we don't have to do that since we can carry the MySmile cordless and use it in the bathroom without needing an electric outlet there.I've included several photos. I'm going to use this as the only dental flosser in our bathroom. It is smaller, takes up less space, and yet holds enough water to do the job. It is easy to fill and use. It also looks nicer and reminds me of a bottle of champagne. The instructions that come with the unit are simply and you'll know all you need to about the settings after reading two small pages. It comes with more tools or attachments that I would even imagine. It even has a cleaner for your tongue and many other dental implements as outlined on their website.You should also know that the MySmile has a high degree of being waterproof. As long as you keep the USB charging port cover attachment on, you can even take this into the shower to use it. I could never do that with my electric unit. This product is a winner and I wish I had it before buying a water analyzer and hiring a company to commercially check my water.

I was looking to replace my Waterpik cordless Water flosser that has been loosing its charges fast these days and also leaks water all over the place. Found this water flosser from MySmile coming highly recommended in a health news article. This is one strong oral irrigator/water flosser! It is mostly user friendly, although there is a bit of a learning curve, and there are a ton of attachments so you can find what works best for you. This one is so strong that it just doesn't work for our family because water was bouncing off of teeth and going all over the sink/mirror. It was definitely easier when used in the shower, although that felt a little weird to do, but I would certainly second doing that for at least your first use of this so you can get used to handling it without having to clean up rebounded spray. I like that you can store the attachments inside the tank when it?????s dry and not in use, so it can sit neatly on a bathroom shelf or the vanity, and still be in easy reach and a visible ... If you have a really sensitive mouth (like with an autoimmune disorder), even the sensitive attachment may be a bit too intense for you ????? I have one and it caused a few minutes of oral bleeding, but it worked great for my husband and our 12 YO, except for the splash back issue. I thought it would be a new way to help our 12 YO with developing hygienic habits, making it more interesting and fun, but he really didn?????t like how the water sprayed and poured out of his mouth. It?????s worth trying anything when you want to help them develop better habits, though, so I?????m happy we tried it, even though it doesn't really work for our household. I think it?????s a great product, but really depends on the user, and again, I?????d definitely recommend that your first use be in the shower so that you can learn how it works, adjustments you need to make, etc., without a big clean up.

The display shows the battery charge percentage, for a few moments when the charging cable is connected.The manual is well written, and understandable, with useful diagrams.When the unit is turned on, it displays the battery capacity, temperature and PPM, along with the mode, modes being CHILD, STRONG, NORMAL, SOFT, and PULSE. When the unit powers off, it starts again in the same mode it was last configured in.I don?????t like that there?????s a delay when pressing the power button, presumably while the microcontroller loads. I also don't like that I can't pause the unit. Pressing the power button after it starts turns the unit off. This was annoying.I like to do a good job 'flossing,' so for me, even with the water capacity slightly larger than my existing water pick unit, I still need to refill once during a session. The large hole at the base of the unit made this easy.The STRONG pressure was strong enough for my liking. I didn't find the other modes, especially the pulsating modes, useful. The child and SOFT modes are likely useful for someone starting out flossing, or a child.I liked the grip on the back of the unit to prevent slipping (I've had other flossers slide out of my hand when wet), and I need to push the ON/OFF button firmly to activate, preventing accidental disablement during flossing.Overall, an effective unit.
