Beautifully advances the depth of my Naim Unitiqute

Bought a used Naim Unitiqute and loved what it did, but it simply didn't have the horsepower to drive old planar speakers without clipping and over-heating. Introduced the NAD C 268 and it had all of the features I needed, kept the wonderful sound stage from the Naim plus provided pre-out to send a separate signal to my sub-woofer. The very advanced Class D features are a game changer in how it allowed this power amp to work with a Class A/B pre-amp. I really like the ability to switch to mono with a second C 268 down the road if I really need greater power for significantly larger / more demanding speakers.

Gave me the boost I needed while enhancing the soundstage

I purchased a used Naim Unitiqute, but the 30 watt limitation of power wasn't enough to drive my old planar speakers. It would either clip if I pushed the volume or shut down due to overheating. Not knowing what to get, I purchased the smallest Musical Fidelity integrated amp, but the pre-amp of the Unitiqute and that of the Musical Fidelity weren't getting along. I then called Upscale and spoke with a very helpful consultant who steered me to return the Integrated MF Amp and simply go with a power amp. The NAD C 268 fit the bill perfectly and even added additional wattage.This unit pairs wonderfully with the Naim sound and doesn't mask the depth that comes out of the Unitiqute's pre-amp, DAC and streamer. Agreed. Have these driving my LS 50s as well in three locations with NAD M51 DACs. Clean stereo set up for TV and music.

the amplifier at 80 watts for both 4 and 8 ohm loads which is unusual. Fortunately we are beating that with our 4 ohm load, getting 96 watts. Treble is impressive in their own right, but it was the clear midrange and smooth integration of all elements . But bass is a little not strong
